At School, Zane fills Adam in, "So Dirk, Symon, and I are.. well, it was crazy"

"We rescued Anne Marie though"

"Aw, man. Jealous." A smirk, "Well, not that much, maybe."

"It was cool my magic helped"

"Yeah! So magic, huh? I think that's a pretty boss passion."

Zane grins "Thanks, man. It's.. good to hear that"

"Magic is awsome! I thought about trying to learn more...." he trails off. "Probably just stick to weapons, though."

"You can do both" He assures

"And I bet I just lost you" A smile

Adam checks his phone, grins hugely, and texts. Hey sexy girl. Stay strong!

Eek!

Adam grins. "Can't complain. Feeling pretty damn lucky."

TXT - it's an image. Spins for a moment, then slowly loads - Taken from an angle below the edge of the desk for discretion, and her t-shirt top has slouched over onto her arm, showing a hot-pink bra strap...

He looks again, a happy sigh. He texts Damn girl. Want to skip lunch?

Elsewhere... "Hey! That's MINE!"

Elsewhere "After class you can ask for it in french" Says a female substitute

No response to Adam.

Zane says "Trouble?"

A faint frown. "Dunno? Maybe she just has to chill with the phone. I think she's in French now."

"Mr. Gardener is out for a bit... so it's nothing to do with him."

A grunt. He slides the phone away. "Try and catch her at lunch, maybe."

"Or we could walk by her french class and nose around?"

He checks the time. When is the period over?

In about...10 minutes

"We could mosey over...."

"Dude ,did you just say 'mosey'?"

Fingers twine and twist underneath her desk - a rubberband snaps against her hand, and the French Sub suddenly has SUCH a wedgie as her (suspected) granny underoos try to jump right up to thong town!

Or so she intended.

Ms. Leflur stiffens

An innocent look, intently focused on the French verbs.

A raised hand.

"oui?" She says, though it comes out as a squeak

"I was wondering... does 'underwear' translate directly, as "sous vêtements", or would it just be, "la lingerie"?"

"Sous-vêtements" She says trying not to wiggle. But it is clear the subject has made something even more uncomfortable

"Ah, merci!" She says sweetly, merciless.

"Yeah. Nothing wrong the word." And he slouches Frenchward.

"Dude, you once mocked MY Verbage as outdated, and you just stole from like.. John Wayne...." A grin from the satyr and they move on.

Oh what an uncomfortable last five minutes for Ms. Leflur

Adam can now peek through the door's window into the French class. There's an Sub shifting a LOT in her seat. And, he can see Piper!

He grins, and backs away to wait put the bell.

"So yeah, magic. Anything in particular?"

"Some of the ceremony behind magic is cool... like any art really"

"I thought it was more.... you know, spur of the moment?"

"Bunks are spur of the moment, true.. repetition can lesson them, and yet...from the base pattern of steps come a thousand dances. Same thing."

He glances over "Geez. Does the Sub have a rash or something?"

Adam shrugs, glancing at the clock. "I guess that makes sense. New beats on old samples."

Adam jigs a leg impatiently. "You studying magic with the old guy at the Farm?"

"Mountain Old Guy to you" A grin "Yeah. Mr Emmit's pretty cool"
