"Oops. I can get it later. It's no biggie." A small grin. "Unless you wanted to go ask for me?" Checking her phone to see if Zane or anyone has touched base.

Zane has not.

"I'll go ask if you want." A roguish smile follows. "I kind of like the idea of you without one, though....."

She grins and takes his arm. "We're good to go then. Did you think of anywhere else to check before we look around the Lodge?"

Thoughtful. "I don't think he's close with Dirk and Symon... and I doubt he'd go visit Nadeen, not after the cupids matched her with Dagmar..."

"There's that Piskie - Jamie?"

"He's not around the Lodge, I think. Piper.... I'm worried. I don't think his phone is -on-."

"Sammy?"

Taking a chance, Adam hits that contact.

Jimmy picks up "Hey. Calling? very..20th century"

"Hey! My Man!"

Brightly. "Look... You seen our Bro?"

"Bro? Wait, you mean, Zane?"

"You know where he is?"

"NOPE.. all I know is he had a throw down with his dad, was pissed off, and said he was leaving this stupid county fuck it. I told him that was a bit extreme, he said screw extreme... I asked if he was going to the farm, he said 'no, that's what they'll expect' I'm like 'whose they?" and he's like 'my parents' and I'm like 'oh'' and then I said so 'where?" and he's like 'you know what? I'm gonna just go get into trouble' I wished him luck and he left, but it wsn't by trod"

A long pause. "Ok, cool. Thanks. Laters."

He looks at Piper. "I think... I think Zane's .... gone."

"What do you mean, gone? He's just in a snit. He'll come back once he calms down. Right?"

Pacing now herself, click clack, click clacl.

"I don't know. I hope so? But.... He, like.... he went to get ... into trouble. Timmy says not by Trod."

"Well, we'll just need to go get him out of whatever it is." Determined. "Let's see. He can't get that far by foot, and he doesn't have a car... I don't know how much cash he might have squirreled away, though, and he can make a one look like a hundred if he needs to." Pace pace, think think. "What we REALLY need is someone who knows how to send a wisp. I don't know who that might be... but maybe his Magic Teacher does. Feel like a trip to the Farm? Or... what's your best guess?"

Adam follows Piper in her pacing. "I want to go, anywhere, sure! I... my guess.... does he have magic that might hide or... move him?"

"Well, he's fast and has stamina, all Satyr's get that. And he can cast a mean fuddle... but I don't know what else he's learnt in the meantime."

Checking her memory banks to see if there's anything she may have known, but forgotten....

She remembers he said something about Veiling from magic itself being really glamour consuming but with the right dross. Mmm

"Hmph. Maybe he can block a wisp. ...I don't know, Adam. Maybe his teacher would be the best person to talk to. If Uncle C is still mad about his passion, I doubt he's thought to ask for help... But I'm not sure. I'm generally the blond, not the brains, of the outfit."

"Let's go!"

"If it turns out he's hiding back around here after making a public display about leaving town... I'll find someone to turn him into a goat, just see if I don't." And she links arms with Adam, asking as they walk, "So, have you traveled by trod before?"

"Yeah." A grin.

"Good! I'm not sure how it works for Kinain on the silver road, but if you went before, it should be fine this time, too... where did you adventure to? Because if you went to Tahiti and didn't call me, I'm gonna sulk."

"Piper...." He takes her hands. "I wouldn't got to Tahiti without you. I wouldn't....." He glances at the kitchen door.

She gives his hands a reassuring squeeze. "I'm teasing you. Mostly."

"Ok."

"If you two are making out again, find a private location" From the kitchen

She giggle-snorts.

"Come and see!" He challenges.

"I'mma give you such a pinch!" And snakes fingers towards his midsection...
