"How did the doctor go?"

Tove smiles "Well, the doctor says the baby seems perfectly healthy. And..I know the sex."

"Yeah?"

"I was sent out of the room after the healthy part" Jaymes says, brow

"Oh..."

"Do I get to know?"

Tove says "Yes. I suppose I Should tell you both since we're all here." a breath "Dagmar, you're going to have a little brother. Jaymes? We're having a son."

"...oh.." She hears it, but doesn't seem sure how to react.

Jaymes smiles, "So I get the best daughter in the world, AND maybe the best son?"

Blink.

"So help me , Jaymes, If you tell me how you arranged the sex of the child...." Tove warns

Jaymes carefully swallows any mischievous smile of his own

"Honest to the Dreaming" he admits "I just figured it was one or the other and ran with boy"

"...I'm gonna have a brother..."

"Yup. Bet you didn't know you were signing on for extra work when you and I exchanged that Oath," Jaymes says fondly "Remember that Oath? Made it so very magical."

"Course I remember!"

A nod from him ("Good.")

"Like she'd forget." Tove fusses.

"I know, you've promised. You'll take care of me."

He leans forward and kisses her forehead, then says "I will. Now you pick out the color and pattern for your long sleeved Swimsuit. AND... I am going to put in your choice of the Rocky or Creed movies"

"Petty" Tove says but she smiles

"Creed please."

"Was there a blue one?"

"Yes, actually, about three there..." She shows.

"Will do" He says and rises to set it up "I like the kid."

"Hunh..."

There's a black and blue number that looks cool.

"That one's okay, I guess."

"mmm" Nod from her ("Then we shall get it")

And soon, she's watching Young Creed, who has to fight, to prove he's not a mistake, not an accident... to himself, if no one else.

And if she chooses to sit on the couch between her parents, well...

That's her biz! And..besides, it is easier to reach the popcorn there.
