"Of course. It's a two-way street."

He nods thoughtfully. "So, -are- you dating anyone else right now?"

She wiggles a hand, 50/50 type motion. "There's a few people I've been seeing on and off. Nothing official. Not anything I've put titles on, at any rate. But... kinda interested to see where things go."

A grin. "So there's competition?"

A touch of a southern twang to her voice. "Honey, is the cornbread competition for the stuffin on the Thanksgiving table? No, I want to enjoy all of the offerings, and if that means that I get to have a lil' bit of everything, well, I sure will make sure there's room." She makes a bit of a face, and giggles, "Ain't having no part of the green bean casserole, though. Veggie or not, that stuff's nasty!"

He laughs. "So... as long as I'm not the green beans casserole....?"

"Definitely not." She leans up for another kiss.

"Oh, I wanted to mention - 'Buni (she says it like "bunny") stopped by for a ride-along earlier today. I wasn't sure if it was obvious..."

"Bunny?"

"Nabuni" She corrects, " Your sexy little friend. Or is it, 'fiend'?"

"Oh!" Recognition, then concern "A... ride along?"

"Oh... I'm sorry. Was that not okay? Should I have checked with you first? She stopped by my locker, and asked if she could come along with me for a bit." A tap on her forehead.

"It's.... fine, are you ok?" Very real concern, not that it happened but that she might not have welcomed it.

She looks a bit confused, but reassures him, "Oh, I'm fine. I asked her to, after all, and it was FUN. It was like, I was still me, only... more so? More potent, more... sexier, more confident. It reminded me of Pan's gift, a bit, but coming from within and without the soundtrack." A pause, and a crooked grin. "Did YOU like what you saw earlier?"

"When?"

"Aw." She looks a bit disappointed. "At school today, when I met up with you in the hallway. I thought I had a little something extra... but maybe she just played with my perceptions, and it wasn't actually anything visual." Piper contemplates, her forehead wrinkling up a bit under the curls as she thinks this over.

"Ooohhh....." realization "I thought you were just into me....."

"You didn't mind her riding along?"

"Don't get me wrong, I was!" And a shake of her head, curls bouncing. "No, I really enjoyed it. If I was you, I'd probably be bothering her for company all the time."

"Oh. Yeah, well..... I did, uh, invite her along." He admits sheepishly. "See, I didn't understand and made a mistake and she was hungry and I felt really bad about it.... So now when I can, I let her in."

"And I enjoyed her company too. So, if she ever needs a boost, and you're not around, or it's a bad time, or anything, she can come to me too... if you're okay with that, that is?"

"Well.... yeah, sure." A little nonplussed, then pleased.

Then he grins. "You liked it?"

His hands move again on her sweater.

"I did. And I'd like to try it again. I wonder if she could be with two people... if they were close enough..." And she leans back in, pulling/pushing/lightly guiding him over to the edge of the sidewalk where she can deepen the kiss out of the way of the main thoroughfare, under the twinkling Christmas lights set up by the shops along the road.

"Mmmm......" He is busy kissing her for a while. When he has to catch his.breath..... "You mean... like.... if she was hitching a ride and ... we....?"

"Let's just say, "made out" for now, tiger."

"Yeah, yeah, sure. That works too." He grins.

She gives him a squeeze. "As nice as this is, it IS cold out here. And I should probably get home before those crazy kids get up to too much trouble with me away." Unspoken, she is nosey about whether Nabuni managed to convince Auntie M to give her a ridealong...

"Yeah." Gently regretful. "Ok. Let's walk back.... did you want dessert?"

"Ha! No, I think I'll be full for a week. You're a sweet enough treat to finish off the night, though." Sneaking another kiss as they walk.

One, and another, and Piper is savy enough to know Adam would agree to just about anything she asks. He seems exhilarated and eager to please her.
