"Yeah." A sigh. "So...okay. I still need to get Gerd confirmed for this. Flicker Flash Femme."

"Yeah, Dag smash, but Dag not do much magic."

"Dag smash GOOD," Sylvi smiles. "But I also know I can count on you to stick with the whole job. You won't flake out."

A quiet grin.

"You want to tell Adam he's got a job? Or you want me to?"

"Maybe the both of us?"

"Okay, can do. Where is he usually about now?" She looks up and down the hallway.

Adam walks around the corner; unenchanted, but still handsome and charming.

Which the girls know means he'll see them as they are, but details of their past exploits maybe blurry.

A shy smile. "Hey."

"Adam. Perfect. Need to talk to you."

"Hey." He takes Sam's hand. "How're you doing?" He nods to Sylvi but waits to hear from Sam.

Sylvi folds her arms impatiently.

"Doing... okay. You wanna glow?"

A faint frown. "Glow....? Lily said that. Glow. I think. She was different."

"Yeah, she is." She touches his cheek, passing a drop of glamour.

He blinks, swallows, smiles. "Hey."

"Wakey-wakey," Sylvi grins.

"Welcome back. We've got a mission!"

"Mission?" He looks between them.

"With the Dragon."

"A crew of us have a mission to do in the Dreaming. But Vali had a vision...you've got to keep guard at a 'gate'...and we figure that meant waiting at the rath, the spot where we'll enter and come out of the Dreaming."

Confused. "I what?"

"That's all he said...that you have to keep watch for us. Maybe you'll help us back, somehow. Visions are tricky."

He looks at Dag for translation.

"We need a guard and gatekeeper."

"You can't go through, but we need you on this side."

"Uh. Oh. Ok. Sure." off balance.

"...If you want?"

"No, yeah, sure, I ... yeah, that's cool. I'm in."

Sylvi frowns to remember. "His exact words were like, 'He who lacks a rib should wait at the gate.' I don't know why, but we need you there."

"Good!"

"I don't... oh. Yeah. Ok."

Sylvi smiles. "Excellent. Okay. Not sure exactly when it's going to happen, but Samhain's getting close, so it'll be soon." A deep breath.

"Cool."

She claps her hands once and rubs them together. "Okay...need to go get the last piece of the puzzle. Glad you're aboard, Adam. See ya, Sam."

A bit of a blush.

"Right, seeya Sylvi."

She flips her hair and strides off.

Adam dismisses Sylvi and turns back to Dagmar. "You good?"

Blush, nod, smile.

"Wanna .... take a walk?"

"Sure." She reaches clumsily for his hand.

Oh, he still has hers......

"Cool." And they do.

It might not be a talkative walk on Sam's part - but it's a pleasant one!
