"Oh yes," Nadeen answers, "One that will assist the hold in protecting itself against slander meant to undercut its prestige, I suspect, and will aid Marigold in a new culinary creation. We are looking for a rare fruit of sorts... called Amberheart."

"Oh fer... is this for that snot-no-... uh... for.. for our honored guest?"

A bemused look on the Varich's face arises, "Is it safe to say she has offended you as she has others of our hold?"

She shakes her head. "Nah. I'm used to snobb-.. uptig-... I've been in here, mostly, and she ain't deigned to visit."

"Ah, a pity. You see what I am planning might humble Lady Seryn and I was thinking that would a perk for you," Nadeen says earnestly, "You see, we're about to make the Marrowfruit yesterday's fad, if this works, and undercut her persistent attempt to shame us for not being a part of it."

Nose-wrinkle. "Daily reminder that I am so glad I didn't get the shiny title."

"Yes, nocker tyranny is best reserved for their workshops," Bemused, then she goes on "Here, let me show you my notes..." She does "See, Amberheart doesn't just grow anywhere..."

Her face scrunches up as she reads, gears already turning.

"You have the wrong problem. Finding it - listen, I'm not saying finding it is trivial, but finding it is the easy part." She jabs a calloused fingertip at the notes.

"Oh?" She listens "What's the real challenge then?"

She has an idea, for Julius mentioned something similar, but best to let nockers nocker if you want them invested.

"Transportation. Getting them here without delivering rotten fruit. Unless you want to insult the bi--- beautiful visitor."

"Preservation IS crucial," She admits, "We may a launch point, so to speak, but it's dangerous... no silver that we know of, more of a rathe than a trod point."

"Mmhmm, mhhmm." Distracted, going over to the drying racks stuffed full of greenware.

"So many pishers think good craft is about fancier and fancier tech. Fundamentally flawed principle, thinkin' more is better."

She looks to Arthur to make sure he chimes in. He speaks Thistle-ese fluently.

She picks up a small vase, weighing it in her hand.

"Well, I am open to your suggestions, Thistle. There's a reason I came to you," Nadeen says.

"Anyways, for the record - in alchemy, sympathy is key. Without understanding how craft can harmonize with the song of the universe, you risk creating something discordant. But with successful tuning, you can amplify efficaciousness."

She sets a group of pots in a line - they're roughly the same shape and size, likely cast from the same batch of clay.

"What do you know about the pyramids, your ladyship?"

"At least one history channel tries to tell me it was done by aliens," She scoffs, "When clearly it was under orders of an Oba Prince to his most trusted nocker archetict." Is she joking? Maybe, then she says "It is mostly touted as a place where pharaohs are put to rest along with their treasures and all things they'll need in the afterlife, I believe. But there is more to it I am sure."

"No, exactly - Amber heart."

"Hearts. Preserving hearts."

She picks up the leftmost pot and taps it with her nail, making it ring softly.

A realization, "You want to use some sort of urn?"

"Canopic jars, specifically."

"I admit, I like it. It's symbolic, and practical at the same time, the dreaming would appreciate that," Nadeen nods noting that Arthur has apparently gone goofy with admiration for Thistle as she 'does her thing' to the point he has forgotten to involve himself in the conversation. So she goes on, "Unfortunately we have 3 days I believe. Please tell me you have something that can be adapted in time?"

"Yeah, you're gonna need to fuck all the way off for at least twelve hours."

"And maybe see if Marigold has any of the good pink salt?"

She raises a brow at that, "Thistle.. I'm indulgent but could we perhaps ask me to FURK off, at least THEN I can pretend it's a stranger nockerism that I as a sidhe can't be offended by?" Ahem.

"Could you kindly furk off for twelve hours if you want a chance of me gettin' this done in time?"

"Better," she nods "I shall leave you be for 12 hours and do you even better," She takes out a piece of paper and writes on it, "For the next 12 hours, you have the right to demand base parts and materials from Wudlig's shop as well as your own. Not his finished projects, that he'd rebel over, but for now YOU are able to draw from the reserves he has. I'll have Gwen help fetch things for you so you don't have to leave your workshop if you like. Oh, the team will be you, Squire Arthur, and likely Madern."

She lifts her eyebrows. "Damn. Okay. Top priority it is, your ladyship."

"Excellent. When it was just for spite, I was interested. When it was for Silverwolf, I became committed. And the fact it will allow Marigold , Julius, and any others who have felt wronged a chance to balance the scales on THEIR behalf too? I like my people, and I don't like them wronged. So yes, I am very supportive of success. No one comes under my roof and sneers at not just me but those who trusted me with leadership without SOME consequence." She looks to Arthur tempted to tell him to come along, but instead says "I'll take my leave. Get what help you wish. Perhaps Arthur here." And she takes her leave.
