She sidles away from Thistle, whistling Hot Cross Buns to herself.

She sputters. "You... he... NO!"

Bluebell looks so amused!

Julius turns his eyes skyward and mutters something about Sky Spirit, save us from her...

"Don't ask too much of him," gwen advises Julius.

Thistle grumbles some ear-melty expletives under her breath.

"Swear jar!" Bluebell calls over in a sing-song tone.

"Want me to lob it at her?" Dee offers to Thistle, shaking a jar nearby that does in fact have some coins.

"I'm ventin' my spleen for the good health of all and the general welfare."

Some coins, and not a few dross that look like lugnuts...

"So, furk off, I'm allowed."

Danica lifts a brow at Bluebell, and though the pooka pouts, that's all it takes to get her to relent.

It seems (and Gwen translates) that Bluebell has learned enough troll to understand "Quit it."

"According to legend, some ancient nocker profanity container exploded," Dee says "I never knew what to think of that. Might have triggered Mount Vesuvius... or maybe I am mixing stories?"

"Best we don't take chances, " Gwen agrees, "Let her vent." A grateful look to Danica for putting the brakes on Bluebell

Mumbled, a touch defensive. "Art doesn't care that I'm a nocker."

Julius pats her on the back. "Not quite true. I'd say, Art likes you because you're who you are."

"Actually," Dee says "I think he loves it about you."

"Not in spite of." the Satyr grins at his kithmate.

Her cheeks are burning again. "Knee-knockin' saps."

Bluebell says in an aside, conciliatory tone, "Plain gold is boring anyways." A smile over to Thistle.

"S'just blonde with airs."

Gwen looks around, "Either Madern got put to work or he escaped like he said he would."

"Yes, blond with hairs." Bluebell nods.

"That too." Mollified.

"I wonder if all Aesin are like that," Gwen shakes her head, "Hope not."

"Well, they seem almost as stuffy as the Gwydion. Glad we're not one of those holds."

"mmph. I respect some Gwyds but don't tell the Baron. Mind you, mostly it's troll Gwyds I respect. But they ARE hidebound."

"They're fine. Boring but fine. Ailil's way better."

"Varich, too, obviously."

"Clearly," Gwen fights a smile, then admits, "Much as I love Daireann green and Silver... the sun o n black looks primal and badass."

"I've been playin' with stained glass, and I have this piece for Beltaine that's got the two houses dimidiated together..."

"They'll love that," Gwen says, in awe of her friend sometimes

"DOES sound nice, now is the Sun on top, or the dragon? I mean... not that I'm saying either is the bo.." Dee's attempt at humor is cut short as Gwen gives her a WITHERING COLD stare that probably makes Danica proud.

Dee mumbles instead "used to be a fun hold." But lets it drop.

She shakes her head. "Side by side, of course."

A nod from Gwen at that, mollified.

"Only fair, they split the year."

"I like the set up," Gwen admits, "Of course she still tends to defer to him with horses and dogs, but that's just practical." SHe gets them some drinks "Here, we can have a few drinks while we chat since we're on stanbdy."
