Then he looks back down at his book, and gives her a bright grin. "Do you want me to research this for you?"

"There was a cookie left. And... and if this doesn't change, maybe I can try being a Dougal?"

"You'd give any Dougal a run for their money."

He's already looking through a ledger. "Was it a christmas cookie, or just a cookie? We can narrow it down if it seems to be seasonal magic or someting more ambiant, and the origin of the confections..."

But then he stops, and pushes the book back.

"Would you like to, uh.

"Go... somewhere?"

"Like, with me?"

His ears redden.

"Always."

"A... uh. Date?"

Fornax tilts his head, "Date: appointment, engagement, occasion, rendezvous."

She bites on her lip, then smiles. "Yeah, I'd like that."

And Fornax lowers his head,, "Ignored: disregarded, forgotten, neglected, unseen."

She reaches out to scritch his head.

Art smiles at the critter as well. Then he blinks, "...how many of those cookies are floating around? It must be CHAOS!"

"Well, Citrine is a sidhe, too. So that's chaos right there." A musical laugh.

"Oh, well, that's... wait, WAHT?"

"Is she still pocket sized?!"

"No! She's BIG!"

"What were the ramifications on her clockwork integrations?"

Grabbing for paper and a quill.

"And wait, what was that about GWEN?"

"Still flies, though. C'mon, let's see if she's still downstairs." A tug on his hand. "Oh, still clockwork bits. I thought she was a Dougal, at first."

He is getting even more excited, his eyes bright.

Her hand is squeezed!

"And Gwen - she cleaned the kitchen with boggan speed!"

"Do you think she'd come by my house??"

"Maybe if you ask nice."

He laughs in delight. "Let's go figure this out!"

"I'm glad it's still YOU in there." He adds, before they head to the stairs.
