"Hey, Thistle, you around?" She asks without looking up, "You think it would be possible to temporarily dye my stony skin?"

A long pause.

".....I wonder if I could enamel you..."

"You think?" She raises a brow "And..would that make me fragile?"

"No! Shouldn't?"

"I mean, how resistant are you to fire?"

"Well, not much more than any other troll I suppose" She ponders

"Paint I could do for sure, but enamel would be shiny."

"I think the paint was more my thought. I was thinking of going as a thunderstorm, lots of dark cloud colors with lightning accents?"

A wistful sigh. "Paint could work."

"How long have you had this urge to enamel one of your best friends?" A trollish brow raise

"I mean, just, who else could I enamel? I really only know glomes in theory..."

"Well, there's David but I get you." SHe says "Honest I'm a bit skittish about it. I mean, that's my SKIN"

"Just a little bit of fire?"

A dubious look "I'm pretty sure my rocky skin protects me against knives and clubs more than fire. I mean, I'd want heatherbalm nearby before I tried it. " Thoughful "maybe I could lend you some scrappings to experiment with? I mean, I trust you won't hex me or anything"

A flappy hand of dismissal. "I don't hex."

"You might curse though, furkit" Deadpan

"Heh. (&@)&^$."

A wolf grin "heh" Then a curious look "You think a stormcloud would look good on me? Or too esoteric...if that's the right word, for most folks to get?"

"for that matter, how are you and Art going to dress up?"

"Y'know, I could rig up little fog machines - generate a cloud around you?"

"That would be AWESOME!" She lights up "Would you? I'd love it." Then she adds, "And maybe you and art could go as some stellar objects? you know how he loves the stars, and you could totally make the colors of it work"

"Not sure about a safe way to do little lightning bolts..."

"That's a good challenge."

"Mmm maybe glow in the dark body paint for the bolts?"

"Maybe!"

"Could work" She looks her friend over "mm I wonder if you and Art would make good binary stars or something? Oh well, you two know the space stuff better than I ever will"

"Maybe a projector?"

"Maybe" she says

"I know dry ice makes fog if immersed but I'm not sure if that would be safe to try. Uhm.. it IS dry ice they used in old movies right?"

"Sometimes, yeah."

"But you can get pretty small emitters these days, if you have, like, a reservoir for the fog-juice..."

"Like a camelback, and run up airline tubing!"

"COOL"

"Hide it under a cape, maybe.."

"Okay" She writes the ideas down "I'm liking this. Body paint, lightning bolts with glow in the dark paint... and fog making cloud cape. We can do this? I mean.. YOU can do this?"

"Could be fun."

"I will owe you one," She says "Not like everyone gets to wear a Thistle original"

A wider wolf grin "Hey, at least the Baron Dugald recognized your rizz"

"Yeah, that wasn't too bad."

"It did not suck" She nods . She herself didn't excell in any area, but at least she managed to get some nobles interested in Silverwolf dogs
