It's enough to make one feel positively grubby in her presense.

"Thanks for saving me, Art." She murmurs quietly, suddenly shy.

She rubs the back of her hand across her face, but mostly smears the ash around.

"Oh, I was trying to save Citrine. The little.. whatcha call her, Idgit. You'd miss her if she was incinerated." Even as he sticks his bit finger in his mouth.

"Ahem... we have wounded, My lady" he says to the fledge "And we needs must get them AND you to haven."

"...oh. Right."

ART seems to have no concern over his soot-streaked appearance. Of course, he still looks handsome even thus.

Meanwhile, the two nockers probably look like extras in a fighter fighter movie

"I knew you'd be more than a match for that rustbucket." He says to Thistle, leaning in close. "You're not burnt, are you?

"Oh! Pumpkin, ha! I get it now." Looking over at the smoldering heap.

To Wudlig, the Fledge says, "May I have the name of my rescuing knight?" Offering him her delicate hand. "Oh. I'm afraid... I do not know my name." Delicate brow wrinkles in concern. "It was Mavis... but that is not quite right any longer."

She pats her sides and scowls.

"Had worse. Might ask the Boss if I could crash..."

"Of course. Come on, Thistle, upsy daisy." He slings an arm around her waist and stands, supporting her as he starts towards their carriage - wait, when did he get taller than her??

"Wudlig, Journeyman of House Dougal, Knight of Banner house Combcatte and head inventor and obscurement imagineer of the Barony of Silverwolf"

He says this proudly

ignoring that the 'head inventor' might be contested

"As for your use name? uhm.. you like flowers? There's a theme among some of the ladies" He says "Until then, Mavis will have to do"

"HEAD INVENTOR!?!?!"

"Stop putzing around with your fellow there, Thistle, we got to get moving" He says as he guides the new sidhe back to his carriage

A calloused hand flutters, resting lightly over Art's as he supports her.

The arm around her waist completely ignored as her pride gets pricked! But he doesn't seem to mind, helping her over to the carriage and offering her a hand up. Art grins to Thistle, then says to Mavis, "This is Thistlethwaite Saltpeter Fulcanelli, Bes Din Certified, and Chief Innovator and Never-Wrangler of Silverwolf."

"CHIEF Innovator?" Wudlig looks at Art with almost a betrayed look, then mumbles something about gals before pals.

"And I'm Squire Arcturus Sol-Eltanin ap Beaumayn. Ah, at your service." He bobs a bit, not able to bow quite right with Thistle on his arm.

"Squire?" Mavis asks, a bit surprised. "At your age?"

Thistle is as prickly as her namesake. "Not everyone prioritizes politics."

"Art is an astronomer."

Art's eartips turn a bit red, but he just shrugs and ducks into the carriage. "Hey, there's a handle above the door frame that could be a perch for Citrine! Did you build that in special?"

And so, the trio - Head Innovator, Chief Inventor, and SQUIRE (alas!) escort their new fledge home - a little singed, a little sooty, but victorious!
