Ivan snorts at her

A shower , a change, and her work clothes. Gwen (And smells) like Gwen again and puts the doges through their paces. Patrolling and training and so forth. The kennels are cleaned, every dog gets a quick check but accurate check for any health complications. They're great.

Pleaseed, she loses herself in her work... and tries not to think of how she will be expected to be courted by some guy from some Barony from who knows where.

"Good, now, more drills for the Hunt " She wonders if Briar is around, she loves these but prefers to use live targets

She breaks out the fake target, there was a sale on 'dummy rabbit targets' from her usual source, but she loves Bluebell too much to use those ,and doesn't want the dogs confused.

So it is, that the 'rover gopher' is wound up, and let loose. Like an outdoor Roomba with evasive programming, it shoots off

The hunting dogs and a few terriers are the ones on this, and they go at it with a hankering

Muppet runs! WAG WAG WAG

Muppet being a terrier is tenacious... and keeps up with bigger hunting dogs. Gwen smiles a bit. Thistle would be proud.

The gopher simulacrum weaves and winds, going through narrow spots and behind barriers, forcing the dogs to adapt

Small dogs can squeeze through or under barriers that defeat the big bois.

There is a sparkle glow from the simulacrum! Citrine is riding it like a rodeo horse!

THanks to Briar's work, they simulacrum SMELLS like gopher as that is the source of some of the ffur

"Good work, Muppet, work the tunnel!"

The little Neverlander turns to blow a raspberry at the closest following hound, only to promptly get clotheslined by a blackberry bramble and be flung off into the brush. Chiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiime! (tunk)

She's fine.

"Walk it off, Citrine" Gwen says, and calls out to one of the hounds who is baying "Good hustle, Polgara!" The Baron likes Tolkien, but the Belgariad, for good or ill, has it's fans.

Sadly, her Sister Ce'Nadra has gotten distracted. Gwen sighs, if the scent hound gets pulled off the scent it is not a good sign.

"Ce'Nedra, focus trail"

In the end, Muppet and Polgara end up both catching the target at once, Muppet locks onto it and tears back and forth, Polgara tries to bring it back to Gwen. There is a disagreement here, but in the end Polgara drags the prize AND Muppet, who is still attached, to Gladiola "Good work, you too." She is so amused she can't quite be cross

Muppet is Big Dog too!

Both get treats, but only when they give up their prey.

Polgara being a good girl, does immediately, and wags.

Muppet gives it a GOOD shake, to make sure it is Ded.

"Muppet, give" A firmer tone, and..well, a waiting treat

Muppet drops the gopher, before sitting up for treat. He's a good dog!

Polgara, having already gotten her treat bounces about a bit ready to go again.

BIg, Small, hound, terrier, worker, herding, sporting or not, or even toy, dogs is happy to please. And Gwen loves them all. "Good work, folks. Ce'Nadra, babe, you'r not going to make the cut if you decide another scent is more interesting than the assigned one. "

Ce'Nadra looks less than repentant.

One of the other dogs got lost in the chase, reioriented a bit late "It's okay, it happens, just if you get too far from the scent you've probably gone the wrong way" pat pat

She hears hammring and drilling from the workshops but knows that means it is not time to mess with the nockers. A shame ,she'd almost want Thistle's advice on catching a guy's eye , yes, even Thistle. I AM desperate

Gwen looks amused as while shes not prying, it is hard to miss the audio part of this show

"If y'don't get somethin' that vibrates at th'right frequency, you're gonna be pinging off every moment of self-realization. Imagine how many self help meetings Danica'll wind up at?

"Fine, but if the Reverb fries the dish over a prolonged period of time because the resonator buffers are left out, you get the blame, Et Al" A snort from Wudlig.

Gwen has no idea who this Al is, and isn't gonna ask

"Who said you can't buff? You got a mask over yer ears, too? Nah, I'm sayin' base alchemical formula, here..." Tapping aggressively at the paper. "You need to get somethin' right. Like, I dunno, chimerical cocoon shells or the like."
