Gwen does her chores and duties with skill and ease, but the dogs , especially Ivan, can tell something is bothering her.

She watches Julius and Bluebell walk together through the garden, hand in hand. SHe doesn't bother them and keeps her distance, but she sighs wistfully at the sight.

She knows Thistle pines for Art, no matter how much she denies it , and works in the shop to redirect those energies, but at least she has someone to pine for.

Madern feels too young, and truthfully, a part of her resents how he just wormed himself into mom's good graces so easily. For a while, she was jealous. That's over though, and she IS grateful.

Julius is off limits. Even if Bluebell shared, he's too old for her, probably, and it would be just ... too weird.
