The wisp leads them on a merry chase. Down a long hallway, it zips UNDER and between Dee's legs as she turns around a corner...

"HEY!" she jumps

Luckily the wisp burns with light and not fire, otherwise she might have singed fur

And nearly gets run over by Madern "what the hell?" Then "have you seen my...."

"Wasn't me" Madern says and keeps going.

Dee arches a brow and gets out of the way

Around the corner, and it bumps up against a door, tapping against it a few times like a fly at a windowsill, before slipping through the keyhole.

She raises a plumed eyebrow.

What door?

Why, Bluebell's door. The sound of bustling inside, and a surprised SQUEAK

"HEY, THUMPER!"

Madern checks to see if the door is unlocked, if it is, he just goes on in. If it isn't... he casts a legdermain to open it chanting "Something happening here.. what it isn't very clear. There's a man with a gun over there, telling me I better beware.."

It is unlocked, and they barge in to find a cotton tailed bottom in the air, as Bluebell digs under her bed.

"Dee, I already told you, I certainly have your tournament spurs, as I am oh so fond of riding..." Muffled as she searches under the lace bedskirt.

Thistle looks for the wisp.

It has moved on and is tapping at her window!

"Seriously?" She stomps over to open the window.

Citrine chimes laughter as she flits over to give the fluffy tail a tug...

":OH FOR the love of any decent god give us a break!"\

And Bluebell spins around, her cheeks red! "Cad! Lout! Intruders!"

The window opens easily!

But any who remain risk being whapped with a pillow.

It's a lovely pillow, lace edged! But, who knows, perhaps Bluebell has filled it with lead weights. You never know with a pooka.

"Sorry, Bluebell... I've had a crappy time being profiled:"

"Yeah, well, toodaloo!" And she's out through the window!

And they are outside, following the wisp along. It is a lovely day, as it bobs in a spritely manner down one of the walking paths.

A couple nevers pop up, one a dark red and the other a lovely carnation pink, and follow along, little bell tinkles in their wakes.

Madern keeps going. He is emotionally tense. The beauty of the day is dimmed

They head down past the garages, past where the path splits towards the kennels, and towards the stables. The wisp shows no sign of slowing.

Thistle keeps following at a good clip!

"Thisle..l. thanks for this. .The wisp. You believed me and ... I'll pay you back"

"I mean, you DO take shit without asking. But you give it back."

"Danica's probably scared, but, like, also showing that in the worst possible way."

"Oh I agree on the worst"

"She's in deep shit for losing her weapon. Ain't making how she acted right, cause furk that, but... dunno. I say things I regret when I'm angry, too."

"We'll find the gun, see who actually took it - maybe my socket'll be there, too."

"If it was just SAYING things.. I would roll with it. "

Past the stables, and it lazily bobs into one of the barns where horse supplies - hay, feed, and tack are saved, slowing down.

"Huh."

"Why here?" She starts poking around, looking for a cache.

The wisp bobs up a worn ladder into the hayloft, then pops, fizzing out of existence.

A sad noise from Chime, who seemed to have befriended it.

"Sorry, sparkles." She climbs the ladder.

"Maybe it will come back when castr again"

"I think it's a new wisp every time? Like mayflies."

A chime, excited, from up in the hayloft! Citrine bells out.

"I'm up, I'm up, what'd you find?"

He follows "Please let this be it"

When they get up, they find a bit of a hollow trampled into the hay, a cozy little nest of sorts. Citrine is pulling on the stock of a pistol that is half buried in the hay!

"Hey, idjit, that's not for Nevers."
