"He said that the Baroness had been that troll's liege before being here - just one troll? And she's a Gwyd."

"Oh, might be some truth to that. Baroness Dancingsnow was a ward to Rivervale, but back in the before times? In another life? Dame Dagmar was in service to Baroness Dancingsnow, but she's not now."

"No shit?"

"Okay, but, she was not..." A look around, making sure neither the Lord nor Lady are present. "Not snogging the servants?"

Now it is HER turn to have brows go up "I.. I wouldn't know about that. What did you hear?" her mom IS a boggan and a bit rubs off

"I couldn't imagine anybody dating that killjoy."

"YOu mean the baroness is a killjoy or Dame Dagmar?" Voice low

"The Gwyd."

"She's been out to do horse things with D?"

"They got some kind of joust club. Hard to read with trolls. Some of us are stoic. Some are SUPER stoic. Doesn't mean we're killjoys"

"Riiight, but you add Gwydion on top of that?"

"Bet she stores that polearm up there t'keep her posture so straight." A jerk of her thumb.

"Mmph. I suppose there is that, it's that hidden temper that can pop off. They get extra tight to keep it from getting out" She nods then chuckles "Be nice. And be careful. I'm nearly indestructible and the Hammerstrike is one reason it's 'nearly'. I MIGHT beat her in a one on one if she were blind folded. She hits so damn hard. I saw her sever a pell with Flyswaller"

"Right. So - her and the baroness? Never in a million years."

She admits "I can't see it either. I mean, I ... I will fight to defend the Baroness name, she helped free the Baron after all. And I respect Dame Dagmar, Gwyd or not, but ..yeah, does seem far fetched that they were ever.. y'know"

"Like I said, wild."

"Mmmph" A weak smile "You and Art uhm... any stories there?"

"No. Art's been really busy. Noble stuff."

"He's... back, from training, but, um."

"Oh" A nod "Noticed he had a part in the official court today . Looks like they're stepping up his duties during ceremony"

She doesn't mock her friend, or smile too much. That would be cruel and maybe hurt her.

She bobs her head.

"He came back so... " Hand waver.

"Like the Baron, you know?"

"Oh hey, he's still Art. He's just on task. I bet he still wants to stargaze with you now an then"

"I've been working on lenses..."

"I'm no expert, but I've been goin' back and forth with Bertram - glaze and glass aren't too far off."

"Oh together you guys probably can whip up a bitching scope. Bertrand and you are each experts in your field"

"Yeah, but you got him beat on festive designs"

"How about later you show me some of the projects you did while I was behind? I'm curious"
