"Huh. They seem a bit small for that."

"I mean, ya'll HAVE a house, and kids are fun. Least Frankie is." She sips from the mug which determined to be not-paint-water.

“Don’t get me wrong, I want kids… at least one anyway. But it’s just not catching yet, if you know what I mean.” A sigh. “Bunny is young yet, but she’s burning for a baby.”

"I mean, there's a lot of stories about making deals with the fairies, but, like, we ARE fairies, in a way... maybe you can do a little magic somewhere to, like, boost the process?"

"Although wearing out a satyr is (*&#@^in impressive."

“I was thinking of going to talk to Dru, that Kubera who took up on the outskirts of the Barony. Not sure if you’ve met her. She’s good people, if a bit odd. Well, having a tree for a brain- and I mean that in a completely inoffensive way- makes her have a unique viewpoint. They have a thing with fertility, or so I understand.”

"And high odds that she won't want to claim your firstborn?"

"I mean, what would a tree do with a baby?"

He considers that for a long moment. “There’s the rock a bye baby rhyme, but it didn’t end so well.”

"Okay, point."

"But, like, Artie and the Baron do Soothsay, and that involves just... good luck?"

"Vavoom, bon fortune to the best swimmer."

“Sometimes it might be more that luck at stake.” He sighs, running a hand through his hair. “I worry that maybe my swimmers ain’t swimmin’. I guess I should get checked, but I never did like mortal docs much.“

She grimaces.

"Ain't there changeling ones? Maybe a centaur, like Chiron!"

Snort. "Art is a terrible influence..." An aside.

“He was the original Centaur for Disease Control, after all.” Julius jokes.

He stretches. “I guess I should go face th music. If I walk in with a few ideas, babe might cut me some slack. Thanks, Thistle - it’s appreciated .”
