We're talking about a guy who made disco ball costumes, to magic lenses, to telescopes that let you find out what a star's zodiac sign is" Gerd realizes nockers are surly by nature, Mag can be a pain in the ass, but as she just got torn one by a noble lord, she's perhaps less wililng to ease up on her views

"Well, I can figure this out!"

"No doubt" SHe says "Just saying there might be a short cut out there"

A look about "You guys have a lot of lovely nevers in the area" Credit where it is due

"Oh, little nuisances. Abut one brain cell to share between the lot of'm."

"Fine, Citrine, you got two."

A smirk "Yeah, we don't get many in Rivervale. There was a one out side my Uncle's window beating his head against a window over the welcome mat"

The Nevers are currently nearly SWARMING, after weeks of hiding from smog. They dance in the air, playing games only known to them.

The chiming of bells is pleasant, in a windchime sort of way. One could see how it might get grating over time, though.

"Yeah? They're super common here. See'm everywhere. Less so with the smoke, but you can see they're back."

Perhaps the only thing discourging Nevers might be the hawks and falcons are once more in the air!

No raptors in the studio, however.

"With a vengeance" She says and starts to feel guilty "Sorry if I came in too loud blowing another nocker's horn. Though I ADORE Wudlig and won't deny a bias there. Bert is good, but I think I am feeling a bit sassy because apparently I offended your baron."

Well, one raptor (and Dragon!) relation.

"Annoyed, exasperated, insulted? Outrage, provoked, upset." A twee voice pipes up from the table near the kiln.

"Mmph. Dragons are proud."

Her shark-teeth flash in a quick grin.

"Yeah. I should have taken that more into account. I was excited about good news, and I thought maybe he'd be just as much so. I Guess I caught him on a bad day. I did mistep once, but I don't think as much as he believes. Oh well. Seems like he's a good ruler to you guys. That's what matters"

"The Baron? Yeah, he doesn't suck." She waves a hand around. "Look at this set-up!"

She does "It's nice." A look at the ceiling "And I'm not bumping my frickin head. Always a plus"

"Need the height, heat management."

A blueish Never is exploring Gerd's horns.

"huh, that makes sense" She nods "Even to a layman like me"

"Pthalo, be nice."

A smile at the Never "Careful with my ridges."

Pthalo gives a raspberry!

Another one, this one more green, is exploring her bags, backpack, any pockets that might be open to peep.

The hornshield is a veritible sideways platue of spikes and feels of glamour and power. it also makes it hard to peek a backpack

"Teal has sticky fingers, so be careful."

"Especially if there's candy involved."

CHIME?! CHIME!

A chorus sets up when Thistle says the C word

"Aw hell-gibbets"

"Oh boy, no wonder one is looking into my fanny pack. HOld on hold on..." She reaches past one never and into a fanny pack which is zipped, and opens it. "I got a few pieces"

At the sound of the zipper, no less than 5 more Nevers come zipping in to zoom around Gerd!

"Here we go..." She holds out a handful of .. well most Gummis are in the form of bears. These however are homemade and in the form of spiders.

SWARM!

An amused snort. "You got friends now."

And some fighting! They all want their own color!

"Okay. Stop it or I'll vanish all the gummis far away where you can't reach them. We will play nice or we won't play at all" Gerd says using the Kerri Boss voice

They freeze, and fall to the ground, forgetting that they can't hover. A chorus of complaining.

TEAL, who apparently has the brain cell today, grabs a wrist and manages to snag a blue gummy and zips out the window!

A little pale pink never collapses to the floor, limp. The others cluster around her, chiming in worry.

"Pop POP" And the teal fellow finds itself holding nothing. A gummi flickreflashed back.

An irate bell chime from outside!

Then Gerd bends down "Okay... here... this will help" She offers one to the pink first. hopefully matching. "Then one for you" Another to another "Then you. One at a time please"

"Hey..." She tries clapping at Powder.

Thistle has seen this before. Sometimes, a Never just... winks out with no warning. It's heartbreaking, but, seems to be part of their nature. Not very often, thankfully.

Powder shifts a bit at the clapping, though!
