Dagmar makes certain Connor has time to be a squire, but also to visit all of his people at Silverwolf. She has Star to tend, and jousting to focus on, and really, she's just very busy with the tourney to do much beyond a brief greeting to the Baron and Baroness for courtesy. Winter is leaning heavily upon her, and she doesn't like too many people bothering her mare or horning in on her preparations or invading her space.

Nadeen greets Dagmar warmly, but respects the winter on her and keeps it brief and makes sure Dagmar doesn't get too pestered. She has others to tend to as well, but has made sure Marigold prepared some of her old friend's favorite snacks and has lots of Dr. Peppers in the fridge.

DLorean however is far more social with Dagmar, right up to the joust. She is looking forward to this, but congraltes the troll for an amazing tie with her own Chieftain

Dagmar is able to socialize a bit with Dee, even if she leans towards taciturn today.

Fine enough, Lavender talks enough for two, though at least a lot of the talk is Joust Club, and horses!

When the actual joust begins, others may compete, it is Dagmar and Dame Lavender who crush all competition, weeding out the overly cocky and the far too timid alike. Dame Lavender seems to be precision incarnate, the lance hits where she wants to hit. It is easy to assume Dagmar is less accurate, but that would be a mistake, for Dagmar's focus is intense, and she has the arm power to make it matter! The Satyr seems to be an immovable object on the saddle, none come close to dismounting her. But Dagmar is an irresistible force. Dagmar crushes a visiting Balor, Dee smashes a cocky Fiona fellow. Each bears their hold's symbols proudly as they whittle down the lists... the betting gets pretty fierce on the side. Until finally the two face each other!

The two joust club members know each other's styles well, maybe too well, as lances shatter again, and again. Dagmar takes a blow to the helm once, shakes it off and catches up by being the first person to come CLOSE to dismounting Dame Lavender... Lavender holds on, but still. Finally, on the last and final pass, the tie is settled not by troll might, at least not merely so, but by a change up , ever so slight, that Lavender did not see coming, a last second shift and dip of Dagmar's lance which bypasses Lavender's shield causing Lavender's own blow to skiff, while Dagmar's hits solid! It's three to 2, victory? Dagmar! But everyone has to admit they've rarely attended a more excellent Joust

A good spar, with a good friend? That is a good day. She clasps the satyr's hand in a firm, trollish grasp of camaraderie. "Good joust."

"Swore I almost had you, then boom, that wrist twist and lance shift. Darn it, great strategy!" A grin as they clasp hands/wrists "Joust Club took Gold AND Silver, woot"

"Joust Club!"

Of course, they both will receive prizes, and Silverwolf's lord and lady seem to be gracious with second place. Nadeen actually looks proud of both of them.

Dagmar isn't staying for the hunt - there's a moment of temptation, yes, but she wants to take the trod home.

Nadeen may try to keep Connor about so Aiden and the boy can have a bit of bonding, but she doesn't mess with the combined wills of his knight AND his Adopto Sis Gerd.

Dagmar is alright with Connor staying - she knows Silverwolf will take care of him, at least nowadays.

Gerd will be okay with if Dagmar and The Squire are. She'll visit

Madern is still stunned he gave up 10000 to invest. Was he drunk at the time? He may ask for a kick pack for Yule if he can get it. He's not nearly as durable to booze as the satyr, and prefers to work with Marigold to the taste testing but he does not shirk. To folks surprise, he actually joins the hunt later
