The little one buzzes up to explore Thistle's hair.

It is currently an emerald green.

The little one pats at the hair curiously, and takes on a hint of green themself.

"Chime?" Can a bell sound unsure, anxious?

"You can do green, if y'furkin' want to!"

ZIP, the never goes IN her hair!

It TICKLES

"Ack!"

Citrine chimes in complaint! Schipp and Madder buzz around!

Muppet rises, uncertain if she needs rescuing

"Oy, a dandruff dive bomb is not what I anticipated, y'little na'ar..." A snerk, verging on a giggle.

"Fer Leibniz' sake, that tickles..."

Schipp is exploring if her sleeve is open game now, too.

Muppet sits up on his hind legs, bear style, and tries to nose the nosy nevers away! He is not very effective.

"Aw hell nah, no, the shirt is NOT a playground..."

Disappointed Chimes!

"Yeah, yeah, yeah."

"We built you ninnies a whole playground..."

The little one pops out, a smarting Emerald green. "Chime?" She asks, shyly.

"You look spiffy."

Chime! Swirling around and dancing with excitement.

"Okay, welcome to the flock Kelly."

She glows a bit BRIGHTER at the name! "Chime! Chime! CHIME!"

The other nevers swoop in and dance around the newly named Never, cheering for her. Of course, it's not a True Name. Nevers have True Names, just like any other creature, but they're probably too silly to remember them. But a name that is their color, THAT is something they can hold onto, and the little one's joy in her new name is obvious.

Thistle's spirals warm to a happy orange, much nicer than that murky yellow from earlier.

"Idjits."

"Word?" Peeps Fornax, curiously, craning his snout up towards her voice. The chiming has woken him. Apparently baby dragons, like cats, sleep a good 8-10 hours a day. When they're not being read to, of course."

"Yes. Idjits. It means silly little ninnies."

She checks his ceramic 'pod' and makes sure the ipod setup is still good.

"Word." He agrees, then settles back down. He's started flicking open one of his eyelids when he looks at her, the eye underneath is still filmy and pale, but - he's keeping them open, and reacting to light. The Ipod could use some charging, but is loaded up with books.

She snakes the cord over. "Exactly. You are not going to be an idjit, we're getting you all the classics. I'm sure you're digging Stephenson. Very cyberpunk, yeah? I bet you'd like THAT book. Could probably make something like it, chimerically. Might need to get chimerical 'ractors, though. Would be hard to get enough kithain interested..."

"Of course, yeah, the Little Mice had it systemized. But chimera would be better than programming, for sure. They have that wild factor, the uncontrolled constant. Right?"

“Wirp!”

"WIrp? I don't know if that's a word. Might make a good what-the-furk interjection."

"WIRP is that dreck?"

”WIRP” he repeats, enthused!

A flash of shark teeth as she grins. "Okay, wirp."

The little dragon chortles and makes some sounds, cheerful.

Not all in the world is bad, even now.

No, it isn't.

Some of it is silly. And all in all, there are worse things to be!

The Nevers are good at making her laugh, and the little dragon brings a genuine smile. Definitely worse things to be!
