"Hi, Thistle!" Gladiola hums happily back from her camping trip , for such a heavy creature she is bouncing.

"Hey." Thistle is under the checker, which is up on blocks.

"Isn't it a BEAUTIFUL day?" Almost sing song

She is petting the hell out of Ivan

Gladiola - no, Gwen's phone rings.

When she glances at it, it's certainly not who she may have expected - the co captain of the LaCrosse team certainly would need her number, but has Kristin ever CALLED her?

She looks at it, then blinksand actually answers "Gwen her"

"Did you HEAR about it?!" The other girl's brash tone is loud and jarring, but... excited.

"I just got back from camping. What's up?"

"It's only the hottest goss of Cee-Aitch-Ess news, GOD. Where do you live, under a rock?"

"In a matter of speaking" Dryly, as she glances at her skin, but curious she says "Well, dish already"

"Mister Blaine got FIRED. Like, so what, big deal, but they had to call security to have him hauled from the building! I mean, I didn't see it, but mom's head of the Pee-Tee-Ay and SHE heard about it from the SOURCE. They said he was SCREECHING."

"Oh my god, that's the best news ever! HOw? What ... " HOPE

"Get this, he's a TOTAL spazoid creep, I always thought he was a jerk ANYWAYS because he fought against the sports budget in the meetings."

Strange, in another place and time, Gwen might be torn about which should get more funding...

"So you know that stupid art fest? Like, who would even GO to that AFTER school is out? Just a bunch of NERDS... But he threw a big stink saying that one of the entries was STOLEN from him. Then they had to investigate it, like for reach, because stealing from a teacher can get you expelled! But the things he said were stolen were actually from students, some of the other teachers recognized, like, signatures on them."

Thistle has rolled out from under the car, listening to the tinny voice.

The screech is audible in her excitement.

"you don't say" A triumphant purr to her voice "The Entry drove him whacko?"

"Then Ted - you know him, voted most likely to be in jail in 2 years at homecoming? Like, what was HE doing at an art fest- He said HE submitted the work and that Mister Blaine was lying, and Blaine got all up in his FACE, like, put hands on him. So Ted PUNCHED him! Right in the jaw! It's all ANYONE is talking about! They BOTH got hauled off. They're saying that Blaine will be in trouble for assaulting a kid, but Ted might not graduate now, but like, who cares, it's not like he was going to college anyways?"

FROWN.

"I will help him pass his GED myself" She says

"Geez, Gwen - Chuck's not even packed for Texas yet and you're already into bad boys?"

A sigh "Not that way"

"What-EVER. Still, can you BELIEVE IT? sqwauwk swauwk gossip gossip!"

She repeats a lot out loud so Thsitle gets a bit of it, and she talks 'Well the guy was an absolute monster to the art students"

"Yeah, well, isn't it like, a THING that art comes better to like, the tormented? AANYWAY, punch and pizza with the lacrosse club is cancelled because of everything, so don't bother showing up, got it."

She folds her arms.

"Well, I'm gonna miss that" A sigh "Was looking forward to seeing how jazzed we are ... but I hear you. Thanks for calling, Kristin. Stay hungry for the win!"

She turns to look at Thistle "Did you hear that?"

"Blaine got fired?"

"YEah, and it was because your art types project" She smiles at that

And repeats what was said to her

"Your project, really."

minus the Kristien bitchy

"Revenge is sweet, but you guys took it over and made it work. I just had like.. a rough idea" A shrug

"...I'm glad he's gone."

"Me too. " A look of relief then a smile "Ted punched him.. I ccan't believe he did that"

"Is there anything we can do to help Ted?"

"Not sure, help him get his GED for sure" A nod

Frown.

"Could... the baron help?"

"The Baron could probably help him get into a private school if he wanted but not sure he'd do that" A frown "I do think if ted were a kithain he'd get a reward for driving off an autumn person"

"Exactly."

"...Maybe Julius?"

"Just, like, persuade whoever decides?"

"I can try. THey might listen to you, after all, you had a big part in this, more than I did I think"

Frown.

"Ted shouldn't get kicked out for this."

"I agree, you agree, but to the mortal world we're teen girls"
