She manages NOT to get clocked in the head, though she might have a few choice words for Wudligs too easy slide design on that ladder latch! Could have had a more gradual deploy!

She looks up and sees a less 'dungeony' area, but iwhtout climbing up she can't be sure

She comes up into an office? It's an office. Therre's a desk, and a collection of books in a shelf.

"Okay, is this above ground? (*&^%R$^..." Low level grumbling as she looks around. Window?

There's a window that... what the furk is this? Why are there Manatees outside the glass? Why is there WAteR outside the glass?

It takes her just a moment, only a moment thank you furking very much, to figure that the huge 'window' is a very fancy screen, probably showing a live stream of manatees somewhere else.

wait, this screen is just that, a screen, but it's also STUPID big. it's another damned door. Hidden in plain sight

"Marmalade, don't dwadle.." She snags the Never and sets her on her shoulder, and tries to open the hidden door.

That's not hard. Wudlig is clever, but Thistle is bright, and she can be patient, when she has to. She ignores his personal stuff like the desk and books (See how GOOD she's being?) to focus on the way out and pops it loose. Marmalade pokes the Butterfly, making it change songs “Confined within these four walls I plan out my great escape. As I cling to this fading dream and pray I've not too long left to wait. Up she goes up, it's a steep set of stairs, but she's handled worse, and she has a rail. Nice designs on the railing by the way. And she comes to a door that is at such an overhead kind of slope that it HAS to be up a whole level. Heck, she can feel warmth. Sunlight hitting the material on the other side maybe? problem is, it has no handle, no latch, no opening that is obvious. What it does have is a set of six images embossed, button like? 3 pairs, each pair of male and female. There's a bruitsh looking male troll, an ogre? And a feamle counter part. Then there's a dragon and a more slender dragon that has feminine aspects.. for a winged lizard. Lastly, there's two birds. male and female. egrets?

But which one to press?
