Julius and Bluebell are scarcely seen, as the pooka lady takes full advantage of the holiday to jeopardize all of the steward's time.

Linnea is depressed for a bit, as she finds herself on duty alone. To her surprise, it's Danica that shows up, and gruffly insists on switching shifts with her, despite having already worked a double at the precinct. The Sargeant refuses to take no for an answer, and soon Linnea is racing off to Dark Gate and the joys that await in a Chieftain's arms.

Dee finds herself surprised along a trail ride by a certain lady of Raven Persuasion! Though the bird shifter goes without warning and comes without announcement (as bad as an Eshu, almost), she is always delighted to visit and regale Knight Delorean with stories of where she's been and what she's seen, and hear enchanting tales in return, even if she will not remember them all the next day. Oh, and of course, she always brings Dee a SHINY THING. It might not be a traditional gift - a single, shiny silver and gem-studded earring that she insists she personally ripped from the ear of a vampire, distracting him from attacking an entire pack and therefore saving the day - but it glitters prettily (and was washed before being gifted, of course). A little ostentatious, perhaps, decorated like a blood droplet, but it's still a pretty thing - though as likely to appeal to Nevara as a bright twist of aluminum foil!

Mortals are HARDLY exempt from the Holiday - in fact, they are where the Cupids focus most of their attention, so that the cherubic chimera may bask in the loving glamour they inspire. Surprising a few, but delighting Rochallor, Nick and Amy had a sudden, whirlwind wedding! It's a tiny affair - the bride, the groom, Dolph as the father of the bride to give her away, and Rochallor is the best man! Despite the lack of fanfare, it's a lovely little ceremony... and perhaps keeping it quiet was wise, else a certain Bunny Fiance' might have taken offense to being upstaged!

Who would have thought that this big-city socialite would settle for a backwater town and hick hunk groom... but none can deny that she looks both radiant and deliriously happy at her tiny winter ceremony. It's almost.. a Hallmark moment!

Gwen has a lovely night out with her boyfriend, Chuck, who is a gentleman... to an appropriate extent. One can be a polite suitor, and still inspire a heated make-out session in the back of a movie theatre! They might not remember the plot to the movie they went to watch after dinner, but the evening is still memorable in it's own way. <3

Nadeen loves the flowers and soon pulls her baron to vanish with her for a time, as passion needs must come before duty.

Dee greets Nevara with a kiss, and, having pierced ears, will soon put those on for her. She also shows Nevera the tickets for a performance of Wicked put on by a theatre in Rome, hoping the prodigal will go with her.

Rochallor looks absolutely adorable in his best man outfit, and mostly behaves himself, though he can be heard whispeirng "The precious" every time the rings are brought out. Mostly he has a huge goofy grin and hugs people a lot. Of course, he has spent a lot of time on a place that breeds horses and dogs, so it's likely as he sees the couple dancing, he whispers to Dolph "Is it too soon to put them in the field to stud?"

As for Gwen, well, for once she's not thinking about protecting her hold, or her friends, or plotting revenge, or worried about how things can go wrong. She's not even thinking about dogs! She gets lost in Chuck and making sure he knows how she adores him!

Blossom comes in smugly with several dart sized arrows and some cupid feathers. She let the cupids go from her hawks in exchange for the arrows!

Of course, Blossom is not dumb, but she might mistakenly believe she's smarter than a bunch of cupids. SO...who's to say which arrows were turned over
