Château, an Irish Wolfhound, is of a gentler temperament than most of the Bear Dogs, at least with people, though the breed can have strong prey drive and takes little shit from other animals but Château has clearly been trained to be tolerant of other beasts unless ordered to go after them, so she tolerates the glennies as long as they don't give her too much fuss.

And then there is her suitor, an older gentleman who is almost sigh about her, but yet an old pro. Not that the female would know it, but Fort has perked up and shown more pep since she arrived

Fort approaches tentatively, and gives a small wag

She gives a small wag back.

Gwen watches and smiles , this could be it, a rapport, soon as Château is in season, Fort will be her go to guy

that's when Château notices a large bone, and plucks it up to gnaw

Fort seems to decide now isn't the time to bother her, and curls up for a nap

"Oh my god, you guys are worse than Hewitt and Linae when they started" Gwen groans

A thought, "Hey, Dee? Pardon, Dame Lavender?"

"Yes?" From the stables, snow thorn is getting groomed

"That gift of pan, does it work on dogs?"

There's a pause then "Beg your pardon?"

"You know.. the gift of pan, makes people goofy and stupidly acting on.. impulses?"

"I'm.. Familiar with it, yes" Dee replies as she peeks out from grooming "Though we might differ on what it does"

"Right, have you tried it on the dogs?" Gladiola says hopeful

"Have I used the wonderful gift of pan, the Dreaming's gift to satyr kind meant to get wall flowers off the wall, to weaken banality's grip in any, and free trapped hearts, to help with YOUR Breeding machinations?" Dee says then continues "The answer is no. No I have not. Am I going to? Again, no, no I am not."

"AWWW come on" Gladiola says "We could use it for something GOOD for the hold here"

"La la la..." Sing songs, but no Gift in it "I can't hear you over how offended i am"

A teenage groan from the troll. If people would just WORK with her on this sort of thing the way she wanted things would be so much better

"I could tell the Baron, and he could order you to try it" Gladiola points out

"You're going to tell the Baron that the only way his favorite Dog, his personal pet, can have a chance with Château is with Satyr assistance? Oh yeah, good luck with that" Dee smirks

"i'm starting to see why Willy doesn't like you" Gladiola observes.

"Willy doesn't like anyone" Dee calls back

"Not the point!"

"Fort," Gwen advises, "Next time, find the bone first and bring it to her. Okay and... you're already asleep aren't you?"

Zzzzz goes Fort

Gwen groans, and gets up to go, to escape a satyr's chuckles
