A blare of a horn as a truck passing them careens off to one side! It thuds into a tree with a crash, but at least it stopped...

A mighty crack of thunder, and then.... the storm is sucked away, as if water pouring down a drain. Gwen can see the directions the cloud flow... inward, down, right towards... home!

"What the hell?"

But she keeps driving

Janice tries again and again to call Katrina!

"Are you safe?"

"MOM! THERE WAS A STORM AND A BUNCHA DOGS AND A HORSE..." Frankie just bellows, it's easier than taking the phone.

Janice heaves a sigh of relief and glances over to Gwen to see if she heard as well.

"AND A LADY WITH A SWORD!

"Uh..." He stops to think. "I THOUGHT I did... but it WAS really blowy."

The nevers cavort about, and he doesn't seem to take notice.

"Janice, tell Gwen we'll be in the kitchen. Getting cocoa. I will get Frankie home soon"

"COCOA!

"We're heading there now, Janice" She does seem cheered up.

"We'll be there right away. Don't go anywhere!"

Janice finishes the call, and looks to Gwen. "Did you hear? They are at your home, and well." Repeating it, to reassure herself.

"I heard, I heard." A nod "Silverwolf cares for its own. "

"Silverwolf? Which House's banner flies?"

"Ailil and Varich unite" SHe answers

Her brow knits a bit. "That is... unusual?" Trying to recall if she'd heard of such a thing before. "Are my children safe under the eye of the winter lords and ladies?"

A sigh. "I will get Frankie and go home, as soon as I see that Katrina is safe as well. She will not want me to be here."

"Of course not!" She shakes her head "Greg is a good man. An honest man. He and Diane drifted apart before we met. But I fear that Trina still sees me as an... interloper."

they pull up to the the hold

"She is..." Janice starts to say, then stops. She looks out the window, and takes in the expansive hold. Perhaps on a better day it would not have branches on the lawn and shingles torn free, but it is STILL impressive!

"Holy crap. I better look around and make sure there are no glennies on a roof"

"You go on inside, tell mom..err Marigold, she's steward, I enchanted you"

Janice hesitates.

But only for a moment, and then nods. "I will go get them." She heads to the door.

Inside, it's a bit of a buzz! A satyr wearing an apron and rubber gloves has been scrubbing smelly red soap residue off of the kitchen.

Bluebell is supervising, and Thane Linnea is checking the windows and lintels for cracks. Janice watches these folk for a moment before she is noticed by Marigold and swept up in a sudden hug!

"YOU must be Janice. Come in, come in. I made enough cocoa for everyone. Your Frankie is just fine, and so is Thistle, bless her, even if she did a number on my poor kitchen..."

Linnea can see Gwen checking on the puppies den, the glennies...
