The bell rings! Chuck waves, he has to head to the other side of the building so he's booking it.

The bell spooks the nocker, who had been 'percolating' again.

Art was saying something.

He repeats, "Gonna finish that?"

"Mmm?" She looks over "Finish what?"

He reaches and snags some nuggets from Trina's tray before she can dump it. "Going, going, gone." Munch!

"Hey!"

He offers her a bag of mini chips ahoy in return. "Mom did a Sam's Club run! She got a membership and gift card for Christmas."

"Oh, nice!"

"Don't be late guys" She says wishing she had waved back faster to Chuck .

okay, NOW she's doing great, glamour or not. A plan in motion

Trina makes it to her next class, with cookies to distract her from thinking about shit she ain't thinking about.

Barney waves to Trina, adding to the confusion of her life because really, who the fuck is Barney? And takes a seat in the same class

She slouches in her seat, scribbling sniffer-improvements in the margin of her notebook.

Barney covers a yawn as the class goes on.

She is NOT paying attention to class.

"Barney, pay attention in class!" The teacher signs.

She steps closer, and WHACK, smacks the top of his desk. Aloud, and signing at the same time, she says, "Just because ASL class is QUIET, does not mean that you can fall ASLEEP. These will be on the test."

Barney proves a good lightning rod for the teacher's attention, he jumps in his seat and signs "yes sir"... nevermind that it's not a sir

The whack does bring Trina back to earth!

She makes a sign, for a boy and for sleeping. "From now on, that will be "Barney" until you have earned a more appropriate ASL name."

Snerk!

Barney ponders a sign that he knows well, but that will probably get him sent to the principal so... he just gives the hand nod

"It IS warm in here." She says, and cracks a window open. The breeze is bracing, but it IS refreshing.

A never slips through, and bounces along, hovering and mimicking the signs next to Ms. Hands. Yes, that's her name. She already gave class a solid 5 minutes to make jokes on day 1.

Her mouth tugs to the side in a little smile.

"Now, back to colors." Demonstrating the signs for blue, red and others... one particularly enterprising never mimics them, while changing their shade to match! Chime.. Chime! Chime!

But... it can't seem to do purple. Blue.. red. Blue... Red... GREEN? Angry flickering.

Barney tries to pay attention but seems distracted now and then.

Barney feels the 'bracing' wind, and makes the sign for blue

She nudges Barney with her toe and signs purple+dinosaur.

"Good, good!" The teacher appreciates it!

He points to her hair, and then signs rainbow+connection hey.. he knows old muppet movies

but he smiles

The colorful never perches on his desk and flickers, trying to repeat the signs!

That gets a smile. Fair/Even.

cool he signs back. but focuses on the teacher if he can..even if the only thing keeping him awake is the bleeping northwind the teacher let in, which might have been her plan
