Thistle doesn't have a wheel, but she has a TABLE.

Thunk-whack. Thunk-whack. Thunk-whack. She beats the clay into submission.

She's mostly alone, save an audience of Nevers. A few of THEM are playing in the mud around the clay bucket. Thistle, however, is quietly focused on her work.

No wheel, but there's other techniques - at the moment, she is rolling out the softened clay into snakes.

"More accurate than you think, sparkles."

She coils the snake into a spiral, before wetting her hands to merge the coils together with a series of deft downward swipes of her thumb.

And... she can't help herself. Rather than sticking to neat repetitive coils, she throws in a few little 'beans' of clay along the path, creating an eddy. Later, she curls the end of one snake into a spiral.

The pot takes on an organic shape - the "formless" and "wasteful" whimsy so hated by Blaine.

There is a very pleasant smell from the kitchen not so far off
