Extreme relief as she responds in humour and not anger at his... unrefined comment!

"Simply to say, even should wild horses tear me from your side, it is to you that I would always strive to return."

Turned poetic in attempt to overturn the previous coarse statement!

"A nice save, mi'lord' In a whisper "of course, if you had made that joke in public, I would have you quartered," She might not be joking. Then she kisses him and chuckles again "And your flattery was very nice. I thank you"

"I would never." He kisses her back. "Should anyone ELSE make such a comment in my hearing? They might end up on the back of a milk carton."

Okay THAT Notion appeals to something barbaric in her nature. "Well then.. all IS forgiven"

Once they have settled their laughter and returned to the papers at hand, he considers. "Is Blossom of proper temperament to handle raptors, do you think? She is young, but might learn their care. In a way, it would be carrying on a small part of Calanthe's Silverwolf legacy which is yet unstained."

"The stairs might be tricky for her, but.. yes, that's not a bad idea! She's strong and has helped before"

"Even if she just visits and allows the birds their wings on occasion, that would be a great help, and not simply busy work to keep her occupied."

"Speaking of Blossom as well.." He flips through a folder, and then shows Nadeen a series of pictures, chimerical, and another, mortal. "She does have a talent at modeling - the camera likes her, or she has a knack on how to turn her best side to the camera. I would send these to Cavaliers quarterly - Blossom is skilled, pretty, and can show off both equestrian gear and clothing in the same shots."

"Does, Cavalier Quartly take pictures of Centaurs? IT's not like she's a fae steed?"

"They sell gear for riders, as well as for steeds. What better place to test out a market for our new centaur kithain? As of now, anything they need, from court voile to simple frocks, must be custom made, sized, stitched and created. We may be on the ground floor of an opportunity to cater to their needs, and provide a line that can then be trademarked and resold, perhaps under a new brand."

He considers though. "Perhaps a fashion periodical would be more appropriate?"

Clearly, this hadn't occurred to him earlier. Not a subscriber to Glamour magazine, it seems.

"I like the boldness, but ... to avoid any accusation we treat her as a horse, why not show her with a horse, leading Joker out, both adorned in matching outfits as it were but clearly her in charge? They're both adorable for diferent reasons"

"Ah, I see. Bold, and clever. Would it be a step further to include a rider? Horsewoman, fae steed, centaur...

Or perhaps, Rochallor? He would make a most charming groom, and show another side of the coin. Centaurs shall forever be tied to horses, but they are no more a beast than any pooka or selkie."

"He would.." A thought "Why not buy advertising space in Cavaliler quarterly and have both Rochalor and Blossom tending towards Joker or another young horse,.. all of them all very nice.. and promote it as a testament to not just our goods, but that 'young hearts dream too'? "

He beams at her. "Perfect. I admit I had a moment of thought to ask you to pose... but this way, I can keep the image of Nadeen the rider to myself." That seems to suit him just fine.

"my lord, for you and you alone, I would play Godiva" Nadeen's lips purse archly

His eyes flash appreciatively at the suggestion!

"Ah, that we had time for us and us alone... I still need to speak with Gwen. She seems uncertain in her Knighthood - I admit, looking at the records it was a bit unusual, for all that the Dreaming ratified it. Perhaps she should speak to other Daireann."

"I know of one, a squire childling in service to Dame Kerri. Fine young man, focuses on the hospitality side of his house. Shall I inquire about contact?'"

"If Gwen would not be insulted to be advised by a Squire or Childling. I do think she is wiser than that, but... youth sometimes have their own opinions." A small smile.

"Indeed," A smirk "Though you are no longer so wizened yourself" She plays with his jawline, running a finger along it "I'll make contact. I am surprised though. Daireann? It suits her on some levels, but she never struck me as vengeful"

"Trolls seldom do, until they are wronged. She will be a fierce warrior, and a credit to Silverwolf."

"And she has no intention of leaving here" A 'I told you so' look

A fond smile to Nadeen. "You were right." He admits - not quite the same as saying that HE was wrong, but a nice nod in that direction.

"Speaking of warriors of Silverwolf, I need to speak with Lavender. Perhaps afterwards, we may go for a ride? I am certain Marigold could be convinced to put together a picnic."

A smile back which grows at mention of the pic nic "I'll tell her. I hope it goes well with Lavender"

"Oh, yes. Something I should have done before now, but... well." He does not make excuse. "Now is time enough." He smiles to his lady, and heads out.

The warning, not forgotten, but perhaps shelved...

Elsewhere, after school, the new fledge is tooling about on her little scooter. The town looks new and different!

Indeed. It's almost as if the town has imaginary friends ..err critters? in excess

Odd silver feathered ravens land on sign posts to stare at her

"Whatcha lookin' at?"

Two fly off, but one stubborn one stays on top of the Yield sign and caws at her "Be on the lookout for coming events; They cast their shadows beforehand."

"You talk, too?"

"A dream you have will come true." it announces

"Dude, do you even see the weke I've been having?"

It bobs it's head "It is now, and in this world, that we must live."

"I mean, sure... but..."

She flips the kickstand, so she can dismount and walk closer to the bird. "You like candy bars?"

"A good way to keep healthy is to eat more Chinese food." It informs her

"I'll take that as a yes." She takes out a snickers from her pocket, and breaks off a piece to offer.

It snatches it up quickly and gulps it down, nom nom...

"Your high-minded principles spell success." It says after it has had that piece

"You sound like a fortune cookie."

LOTS of head bobbing, "Your lucky numbers are 4 , 11, and 26"

That's when she notices the Chinese restaurant nearby . It would appear these things were spawned there.

"Ha! I get it!"

"Didn't think crows were a Chinese thing but it's cool."

The Silver Wing restaurant? Ha. Maybe they didn't mean crows but they got them
