The smell of coffee flows from the kitchen, heavenly wonderful coffee!

This maybe news to Marigold

The green and gold coffee can does not appear to be your standard store brought brand. High Summer Blend says the can in gold lettering reminiscent of Welsh celtic font.

Hmmph! . "...if every troll didn't drink it, would say it stunted growth... mutter mutter..."

The offending beans are not ejected, but they ARE decanted into a ceramic jar instead, and the original Green and Gold can is packed up along with a travel mug as Marigold heads over to check in on Willie.

The smell of fresh brewed coffee heralds her arrival even before the Boggan raps politely on the doorway to the Nocker's workshop. Also, something sweet...

She knocks again, knowing how Nockers can get caught up in their work!

"Is Willy left because Dame Calanthe is gone? " Blossom asks a bit sad sounding

The door bangs open "WHAT?!?!?!"

The matronly steward is startled and nearly drops her basket. "Sweet Lord!"

Blossom bouces back

Willy in overalls and with dirty hands and face and rag, scowls.

"Don't yell, we're shaken ennough as it is" Blossom fusses "And Marigold is a grump and fragile and we need to treat her nice or her leg may act up"

"Ahem. Thank you, Blossom." Marigold says, perhaps a touch dryly. "Willy, may I come in, please?"

"You're welcome" Blossom says glad her kindness is given due praise

An eye-roll but the nocker moves inside and away, tromping in boots over to a hotplate and coffee pot; it smells burnt.

She moves in briskly and sweeps the counter top off with a cloth, moves the hot plate aside, and pushes the fresh coffee carafe into Willy's hands. "Here, this is for you, please pour yourself a cuppa."

Setting out a small platter of chocolate covered biscuits, Marigold continues, "Not sure what's wrong with perfectly fine tea, now a good tea stands up to a nice biscuit, now that bean, it is all bitterness and no subtlety, and you have to slather on chocolate or icing just to mask the taste."

"Hey!!"

"That coffee's just right...." she grumbles "Who put icing and chocolate on biscuits!?!?!"

“Cookies, dear. Sorry, I didn’t mean to offend your southern sensibilities…”

“Just try the coffee? Gwennie brought it up special.”

Willy squints suspiciously "Why?" but she takes a cup of it.

“Because it was a gift.”

"Mmph." she samples it.

"Thanks."
