Aiden straightens up. His eyes are still filled with tears, his shoulders still bowed - bent now, though - not broken.

"Nadeen..." He reaches for her, looking for strength to rise.

And she helps him "I'm here, Aiden. I'm here... " SHe props him "But I have something for Connor. A gift from his mother"

Connor goes still. Eyes WIDE.

"My mama?" He says, in a tiny voice.

"Yes. I know it's hard to believe, but it's true. I think .. I think Sylvi made it possible but your mother told me to give this to you" She makes sure Aiden is.. secure, then motions the boy forward

Dagmar's brows flex, expression stoic and unreadable.

He squeezes Dagmar's hand, then lets go. For this, taking a step forward, and standing up tall in front of Nadeen and Aiden. Dagmar can see he stands straight and tall as she taught him Squires should be when being brave.

Aiden watches, bemused, silent, and keeps hold of one of Nadeen's hands.

Oh, that might be a flicker of a smile.

With one hand in Aiden's, the rest of Nadeen bends down, "Your mother told me to give you... all her love" And she kisses the boy on the forehead, a bit of glamour, that which was good that she shared with her, to him. For it is his by right

Magic flares! Bright and beautiful, as clear as the sun upon pure snow, as sweet as the first flowers of spring, as joyous as a child's laughter.

"Oh" Nadeen, having had her mind and soul locked in psychic combat for what felt like days even if it was less than an hour feels rather wobbly to have something so positive flow through her

As the magic washes away, the three stand... each subtly changed.

Sylvi smiles, a bit overwhelmed.

Nadeen looks slightly older... she feels the same inside, but her appearance... somehow, more mature, more poised.

Aiden looks slightly younger... the weight of the cantrips and spells lifted.. it had weighed heavily upon him, far more than any knew.

And Connor... looks the same! To Fae eyes, his ears prick, and his tail wags.

But to Fae eyes alone.... look closer, look under the magic, and there is a boy there. A shy boy, with soft brown hair and mis-matched eyes, but a boy, from head with rounded pink ears, all the way down to his rump - which does not show with a tail how he feels, happy or sad. He'll have to use his words and actions to portray this from now on, to Mortals.

Connor blinks, and he rubs at teary eyes.

A soft laugh, then, she realizes what happened to Connor "The seeming, it's restored!"

Tears drip down his face...

"Kiddo!" She scoops him up into a hug, to spin him around.

He clings to Dagmar, not realizing yet what they are so happy about.

"Dagmar... Dagmar!"

He shakes his head, there is something else.

"Oh, wow...." Sylvi almost forgets that she's restraining a sidhe.

He blurts out, without even a lie. "I remember her. I remember my mama!"

"That's great!"

"Dagmar, your'e going to have to take him around to all the places he couldn't go on two legs before " Nadeen is joyous "You and Gerd will have to take him to the zoo and to.. oh just everywhere"

Aiden smiles, straightening up - his eyes are still filled with grief, but it is... manageable, and tempered by the love now there as well. Then, he sees Calanthe.

And his eyes go cold.

"I am sorry, my Love, to interrupt you. There is yet one thing for us to settle tonight."

"Yes, Calanthe, who I was really willing to forgive for her part in things, save perhaps her villification of your son.. but.. am crazy or did she force Dancia to SHOOT at me? WIth a mortal gun?"

He raises a hand, gently. "You have a grievance... but mine... may be greater. Please, allow me."

Sylvi is in the line of fire from those two approaching sidhe. "Do you wish me to release her, Baron?"

Aiden nods to Sylvi. "You may." Even though his voice is soft, something in his expression makes her feel like perhaps she may want to retreat.

Oh, yes. She does not want to be in the front row for this performance. She lets Calanthe go, bows, and gets out of the way.

She quickly seeks out something to serve as a cup or bowl, and something drinkable to put in it.

"Sylvi, please, can you help LInae? " Nadeen then realizes that she's on it "Thank you"

"On it," she confirms.

Dagmar holds Connor, and whispers to him. "Tell me about your mama?"

Facing Calanthe, he draws on his grandeur - not even realizing he is doing so, as he steps forward, until he glows like the mighty Lord of the Fair Folk that once was.

"Calanthe. I have only one question for you. I need not name your sins. You know full well all you have done. A wiser soul than me guided me in all I need to know.

All that you have done. Right or wrong. For yourself, or for me. Justified, or not. You have done harm to me, and worse, harm to an innocent child. You would have done harm to one who acted only out of love.

"Are you sorry?"

Nadeen's heart catches in her throat. Magnificient!

Connor was telling Dagmar something, but he stops, ears up, watching this.

Dagmar listens, as only a Gwydion can.

Sylvi brings the glass of wine she found to Linnae, and she whispers in the wounded troll's ear of how the worst is over, how it's going to be all right, how things are getting repaired now....all while swirling the wine in the glass. Then she carefully supports Linnae's head to give her a sip from the cup.

Calanthe's face twists, and she responds, bitterly, "I did what needed to be done. An Ailil acts as is needed. I do not regret my choices."

Aiden does not look angry at that, just saddened. He inhales deep, and then gathers his glamour.

He recites quietly under his breath, in Elvish. The bunk grows as he speaks.
