Taking care of paperwork and the mews in Calanthe's absence has proven to be a significant bit of work. It turns out that the sidhe knight does actually handle a good bit of the running of the Manor. Every day maintenance is Marigold, accounting and rote paperwork is Julius, but a lot of decisions need to come from uphill, and Nadeen finds folk looking to her.
Who would have thought that seemingly simple things such as the vendor to use for animal supplies could have such long reaching consequences? Julius explains that it's not JUST the cost factor, but also who you know. Ordering grain from Vendor A might seem obvious, until you take into account that Vendor B has better relations which such and such registry and provide better placement in future shows and adverts.... politics, apparently, can have a place in bureaucracy too - and Ailil do excel at it. But, paperwork is not much fun to dwell upon, despite needing to be done.

Storerooms left closed up for years to be sorted through, Marigold has mentioned she can be helpful with the clearing out, and Aiden as well has offered to review with her what hold minor treasures may be suitable for release in an auction.
There are commoners to speak to, to ask for donations! Any excuse to hob-nob with the smallfolk?
Danica has hinted that even the noble sidhe should be careful to not let their fighting skills lapse, mentioned in passing whilst practicing with Linnea and Gwen. Though, there was a hint there, perhaps, about another Sidhe in the house who has seldom been seen to lift a sword...
