"I am inclinned to agree, thouggh I can be moved to pity." She admits "To be fair, Flo is endearing. I hope you've not had further trouble with her? She's serving Marigold well"

"No further trouble, no. And now I understand that the earlier mishap was not due to any failure on her part as well. Marigold has no complaints. I trust she serves you well as a companion and a servant both?"

"She does, I'm rather pleased. I shall grow spoiled." A low whisper "the fact I have a mortal servant just makes Sylvi Twitch. I like Sylvi, and making her wince was not my goal, but I confess, it's a bit of a perk!"

Another laugh. "If it pleases you to see her twitch, then I call it a good investment for that alone. I have wondered if we need to hire more staff as our hold grows. Then again.." A small frown. "There is no guarantee that Gwen will remain, once she has sained. It may be that oaths forgotten will resurface, or she may have duties that come to light. There were signs that could point to a noble hold in her Chrysalis... but which one, is unclear."

"Perhaps it's this one? In another time? Mmm I think Gwen is will tempted to stay; she loves the dogs as much as Briar, and she sees Marigold as a second mother. True, old truths will come to her, and she might go further afield, but I would lay coin that she's holding here after her saining"

"We can hope so. Should fate choose to have brought a Gwydion... even such I may have learnt to tolerate. But black alone is both promising, and unnerving. Easily could it denote Ailil, but also our sister Eilunid. Varich and Beaumayn, Scatchach - even Leanhaun or Balor. Just as likely though, it could have been a personal sigil... or nothing at all."

"Now I am Curious. She wore some symbol when she dream danced? Please tell me more"

His brow furrows a bit, and he concentrates. "I had thought I saw a glimpse of some sort of symbol in the magic that swirled about her with the vestiges of her Chrysalis. Now I think... it may have been naught. In any case, a few months time and we shall see."

"Interesting.. I wonder if she served Varich" She was shorted a troll, would't mind getting a new one. Though Dagmar was far mroe than a vassal

"I must admit, while in the past I may have taken them in passing, House Varich has grown on me of late."

A delighted laugh and she leans against him, "Have we now?"

"Indeed. Even Calanthe cannot deny your house has it's charms." Wrapping his arms around her.

"A true miracle" She confesses, and she rubs noses with him playfully

And thus, planning for the attack, even with it coming up so soon, is put on hold. Some things are more important! Such as flirting, and... well, it may not be noble-sounding to snuggle, but they spend a quite lovely time... affectionately ensconced.
