"Willy" a knock on the door of the workshop, it's Gwen

"BUSY!"

"Fine. I want you to start working on protective gear for my dog when you get a chance!" She yells thorugh the door "Something that won't impede his movement."

"What??!?!!?"

"Dog barding, and I don't mean he sings as he wags"

The workshop door slap open and there she stands. "WHO??"

"Ivan, my dog. When you get the time I want you to make him some protective gear, you know, leather harnass or barding. "

"Are you.... is it a pooka?" She STARES.

"No. I'm not. and he's not. He's a Fae hound, a Russian Bear dog of very FINE lingeage thanks, and if he's going to actually fight bears one day " Or end up threatened by Calanthe "I want him to have a better chance at survival. Protective barding or harnasses for war dogs is historical, You SHOULD have the skills to do it"

"It'll need to be upgraded as he grows" She adds

"It gets bigger!??!"

"This is where she is" She makes a gesture of Ivan's current height , then she brings her hand UP UP UP "This is where he's gonna get"

"Give or take"

Willy cusses a lot.

"I know you have other priorities. But I do want it on your 'to do list' when you get the time"

"Get it... in here." Willy scoffs and sneers but makes room.

She does "Fine"

"Whaddayawanna protect?"

Gwen pulls out some papers "This is gear actual roman war dogs war... and this.. this is more like a modern K9 Unit might use. As you can see, it doesn't cover everything, far as I know it can't but I want to protect what we can as long as he doesn't get hampered or in pain. He's a fuzzy breed, so a bit worried about the collar"

She looks the papers over. "You want him a daddy?"

"Sorry? I don't know what 'daddy' means in this context, I don't think"

"You. Want. Babies. Out. Of. Him. ?"

"Well, eventually he and the right female dog will have puppies, yeah" She nods

"So you need to armor up his nuts." The nocker inspects the dog.

"I hadn't even thought of that" She admits "thanks, Willy"

A snort, and she grabs the drawings, making notes.

"Of course, the poor guy needs to pee now and then"

Willy gives her just a LOOK.....

"Right. You KNOW that, sorry." She says "Now that you have the drawings I should probably leave you be"

"I need measurements....."

She gets a tape measure out.

"Be stil, Ivan" And he poses , still

"Gloryhound....." but she measures and writes the numbers down.

"Thanks" SHe says when it's done "I'll leave you be now"

"You ever think about shaving it?"

"thought about it, don' want to. Besides, fur can protect too." She motions "Come on, Ivan" then "Thanks for this" To Willy, and out the troll and her dog go
