"Hold up, I have a spear, can't I help with this?" Gwen says

A look to Ivory as he responds to Gwen. "As a new fledge and newly awakened to our world, you are to be warded and watched for a year and a day. I do not dispute that they have wronged you. Knight Ivory, would you take her under your eye for this hunt? If he chooses not," He advises Gwen, "I will ask that you return to the Manor, as an untrained warrior in a fight can be a danger to your own side." A flick of a glance to her spear, which flew wide the night before, but he does not, thankfully, share THAT embarassing tidbit.

Gwen looks at Ivory "Well?I mean.. please?"

Ivory frowns "I don't think it's wise , if you rush ahead"

"I won't, " She assures, "Please? I.. they scared me last night. That.. that makes me mad . I don't like being scared" She admits "it frightens me"

Sir Colton lets just a twitch of the lip indicate he almost smiled

And from the side of the path bursts a furry tide that threatens to wash over Aiden, as several large dogs swamp his feet - up to the waist nearly, and he is not short.

"Mischka, Ivan, Zhulka - Fort!" And the hounds settle! One giant mountain of fluff with two boulders on either side - half grown pups, and on his other side, settled - but his tail still whapping - an irish wolfhound.

"I have half-grown pups of my own who will learn from their dam. Let her come with and taste vengeance on those who wronged her." He suggests to Ivory.

"Yes, Baron" He nods, then admits "Impressive dogs"

"Really nice," Sir COlton says "This way, your lordship. Are those Russian Bear dogs?" he asks

A flash of a grin. "Ovcharkas, first generation of these lines outside of Turkmenistan. They are my pride." A low grumble from his side, and he gives Fort a rough tussle on the ears in response. "Fort will find their trail if they have left this motel - he could track a snowman through a blizzard. And Mischka and her pups will see that none escape."

To Davey, "Did they leave anything behind?"

Looking for a scent guide.

"Ah, yeah! " He says "That lady redcap threatened to eat me, she also wiped her lips on this clothe like a napkin to make me nearly wet myself. That help?" He offers it

He takes it, and comments to Davey, "This will do nicely. I suggest that you take your leave before we return." Kneeling to offer the napkin to Fort, and murmuring quietly to the dog. His head tilts to one side - again, Gwen sees his speak to the creatures as though they could comprehend his every word... and the hound stands, giving a growl that sounds more excited than vicious - and bubbly little GrrRRrrrRrr's pipe up from the pups!

"Let us hunt!"

And the hunt is on!
