Brekke plays the obvious decoy. Frank should be able to fade off and circle around.

And soon 'Brekke' has the tail's attention

She speaks quietly to Heartbalm, hopefully luring the tail closer to hear. She asks about the area's people and places.

Anything that might add information to the search.

Heartbalm answers "There are areas that are rather unseelie and antiroyalist by nature" he answers

"Any serious threats to be found there? Or mostly sentiment without action?"

"Mostly the latter, but one knight was found unconscious and bound nude a few weeks ago "

"Hm. Sounds like pooka."

"What house was the knight?"

"A Gwydion such as yourself" He answers

"Mm." A nod.

"Some of the dreamers are mused with violent encouragement, not ravaged, but... darker pushes"

A scowl. "I am familiar with such." Her attention is divided, listening for some sign of Frank having caught the satyr maid.

Frank does indeed drop back. Maybe he has a stone in his shoe, or maybe he just.... fades.

And soon Frank is close to the satyress..

(Dex plus Stealth with Frank, but dif only 5 with Brekke working as a distraction)

Frank closes on her and within an arm's reach

Frank takes the opportunity to observe at close range; nothing salacious, but perhaps there is information she won't indicate otherwise.

He looks OVER her shoulder as she texts

At 9 feet tall+ it shouldn't be difficult.

To keep the pursuer's interest, Brekke takes Heartbalm's arm and makes a quick turn around a corner, out of sight.

She follows them. Frank follows her.. and he sees a response come in

She responds TXT: Smurfs on Steroids, both

He waits to see if there is another response.

Then she adds TXTThey're with Catspaw

Response Damn. Old Tree finally catch on? THAT IS suspicious. Try to lure them away

Meanwhile, the Grump Sidhe says "It's a pity. I prefer dreams of hope myself. We need it"

While she's taken a slightly circuitous route, she's not going to be able to play decoy much longer. There's only so much territory between them and the vehicle.

And FRANK sees the satyress sends a 'nod' emojoi, then breaks out a penny whistle and starts to point towards a city bus that is currently parked

THAT is when Frank will attempt (dice gods please bless) to flick the phone out of her hands (if possible, without breaking it) and secure her. Quietly. Hand on mouth, lift her up, and away we go.

The element of surprise renders success easy, well, that and some skills Frank has honed in his years as a trucker on rough roads and more. Soon, he has her trapped and muffled in his grip.

Frank tries to scoop up the phone.

Brekke hears the struggle

Brekke stops walking and turns. "An effective mousetrap," she murmurs to no one in particular as she waits for Frank to catch up with his prey.

And Frank is having trouble getting the phone AND holding the muffled satyress

"Come back with me," she says to Heartbalm, and retraces steps to join back up with Frank. She fetches the phone from the ground easily, then fixes the satyress with a glare.

She does kick

Heartbalm gasps "Mitzi?" ANd follows

Frank stands, shifting the satyress out to the side.

She doesn't look away from the satyress as she asks Heartbalm, "How do you know her?"

"She's a maid for the Baron" He says "She's worked for almost a year with good service"

"Check the messages on the phone." Frank rumbles.

Brekke looks at the screen and clumsily scrolls.

When Brekke does, she can see the recent posts, and some older than that. There is a lot of 'codename' talk. She may not be good at tech, but Falcon and Tree? Obvious house references and so on...

"Hm. Apparently," she says to Heartbalm, "she refers to you as Catspaw. Hardly complimentary."
