As Piper and Jonas head down the hallway, they find that there is no need to hide. The staff seem to be not interested in the small woman in the bathrobe, though Jonas gets a couple glances just from his unusual height. Mostly, they are busy and on their way to take care of other things.
They pass other patients and visitors, and soon are directed to the NICU wing. There, they do need to pause and pass a security checkpoint. There is no guard, but rather a doctor on duty checking as people head out. As one bassinet is wheeled out before them, they see the doc check and double-check the paperwork, the wristlet on the accompanying mother, and the band on the baby's ankle before letting them leave together.
