"She does, mad leadership skills though" May takes another bite "This is really good parma, Mrs. King."

"Oh, I got that from Lucia's family. They sell some of their house specialty on the side" Tove confesses

"Did you get some of the garlic bread?"

Passing the basket even as she asks.

"mmm no I didn't.. " She takes some gratefully "Thank you."

"Now that's mine" Tove chuckles

"Well" After the first bite "it's good"

CJ is being tended to by Jaymes who is making sure the bright lad doesn't make a mess

The meal goes on nicely and May says "Thank you so much, but I am stuffed... and I told my folks I'd be back soon"

"Thanks for coming over. Take some leftovers."

"if it's okaaaay" She blushes

"Please, I'll help set up a to go bag" And Tove does.

When May departs loaded down with enough for another single person meal. Tove turns "Okay. I know we need to talk about the nanny, but Dagmar I am SO proud of you. May's back to her old self"

"Mostly? I hope?"

Jaymes ponders "mostly. We need to give her tools to hold onto herself when she gets back to California"

"Sounds like our daughter already thought of that.. discord games and other things" Tove points out

"She will need a guardian."

"I would hope a troll or a Gwydion, where I could implore on our common bonds."

"You know, I'm not that up on courtly house stuff, but I think a House brrother or sister, that you trust, might be a good idea. They'd have the power to throw around to protect her"

That from Tove "And it wouldn't be odd for you to make the request. Seems you have a growing rep in your House" She continues "Maybe, for May, you can use it?"

"Exactly."

"Well, I don't know about that. I don't do much politicking."

"Name drop the Chief" Jaymes says "Her reputation is greater still, and she too wants May cared for. "

"I am tempted to find that Redcap."

Tove says "Redcaps are almost as brutal fighters as trolls and they ambush you if they can, or get a corby. You might want someone with you if you try that" A bit worried

"Like how Colton lost an arm, yeah."

"That's what I was thinking" She admits "And worried about."

"See if Dirk wants to go? Takes a Cap to understand caps. Or maybe prissy?" Jaymes suggests

"Maybe? I can talk to him."

Jaymes grunt/nods accepting his daughter will assemble what team she thinks best but at least she is thinking of not going alone

Then he says "What were the nanny applicants like?"

"Good? Qualified."

"None would intentionally hurt CJ."

At the change of subject Tove nods in agreement "Well, all three are changelings... which is good as we need not worry about ignorance"

A brow raise at the intentional part, but Jaymes nods slowly "Tell me"

And Tove does give the basics... the who is who of the three.

"Sometimes harm can be unintentional."

Mmm Jaymes grunts. then having heard who is who goes "A Satyress? A Pooka. And a Piskie? I am surprised there were no boggans"

"A bit surprising, but not... bad?"

"Probably in high demand" Tove says "Dagmar and I are thinking that while Manny is nice, his lies would give her headaches and me frustration. It may not be fair but there you go."

Jaymes nods "Then he's out. Which do you two prefer of those that remain?"

"Mm."

"Demetra is less..." Looking for the word.

"Energetic? Sassy? Opinionated?" Tove is guessing

"Sassy."

Mmm? ("And this is bad?") Jaymes inquires
