Frank is driving along Interestate 79, north East of Charleston WV

And he's heading home. After all, he wanted to have plenty of time to be back for the 4th. Otherwise he'd miss his eldest daughter's visit, and , not as bad, but still terrible- Olgar would be the only one grilling!

And THAT is not to be countenanced.

Indeed. The drop off went well, and he got cargo in return that is to be delivered not 20 miles from the lodge. This has been profitable for him, or stands to be. A rarity as jobs are more 'internal' or 'contracted long term with trucking companies' than ever. However, he has to eat, and the trail mix is not quite cutting it.

Suppose not. Needs must. And, there are rest stops that can get him in and out.

He sees the usual signs promising chain fast food and franchise resturants, but he also notices behind the mortal bill boards if a purely chimerical one!

On it, the artwork of a grand looking lady, a sidhe... of course the art can't fully capture her beauty, but the sign is clear "Missing, Countess Amynda Hearthshield , reward for safe return in mortal cash, dross, or entitle ment! For questions, stop by Freehold ..." With directions!

They would likely provide a meal for free.

They might... but he has a travel budget thanks to Sally Mae, and still steers clear of entanglements with nobles as much as possible. One can't be too careful.

In truth, there is that. So he pulls in instead towards other selections. What shall it be? Ye old McDonalds? Taco Bell? Olive Garden (For Fancier fare) or will he try a local independent business?

Local independent, preferably truck-friendly.

He does see a spot with a few truck sized parking spaces. In the back but clearly well maintained, at a resturant dinner that is named 'The Chow Hound Cafe'

Sounds about right. He'll try that.

HE pulls in, and finds it's a nice enough set up. Seen better days but takes pride in keeping things in good shape

Frank shuts down the Rig for a bit, does his walk-around, and looks to see, from the outside, what amenities might be inside.

From the outside, he can see wooden signs with the day's special. Looks like country fried steak is half off today!

Frank has a bonafide interest in country fried steak. He goes in.

After kenning it.

A bit of glamour inside perhaps, no hold though

Frank enters.

Frank enters in and immediately finds a comforting vibe here. There's a corner spot with large chairs if he vwnats

He is careful; nobles are advertising here. He pauses at the door, checking the menu.

Looks like country cooking, or at least home foods done right

He puts thoughts of Kerri's cooking aside, as he must, and finds a seat.

A waitres starts to walk over, but another woman says "I got it, Jess" And he sees a boggan waityrtess approach

His eyes flick to the first waitress, but then he focuses, and nods. "Hi. Table for one. and a quick service."

"On the road eh? What can we get you sir?" She guides him

"Coffee, chicken fried steak, mash, veg and salad, apple cobbler." He orders without seeing a menu.

"Good pick, Chicken Fried Steak is half off today" And off she goes

Soon she returns with the coffee, and says "You're a Liam, aren't you?"

"I am." quietly.

"Mmph" Disapproving "Long as you're not here to try to free that house brother"

"I'm here to eat, and take a break."

A nod "Well then you'll get the best chicken fried steak in west virginia"

And she walks off

Frank settles in his seat, aware of his surrounding, and waits for his food.

Frank hears a lot, learns a lot. Let us just get to the keypoints

1. Countess Amynda Hearthshield is missing, and has been for over a month.

2. Sir Bemot Lonegarden ap Liam is believed to have aided in her abduction, and is imprisoned in a tower

3. Several changelings are out for the reward to find where she is being held, but so far all have come up empty. a Few have vanished themselves!

4. Lonegarden refuses to speak of his innocence, therefore he must be guilty!

5. There maybe a lottery for a new Countess if she's not found in the next month or so, as she had no heir

Oh andlast and not least, ONE pooka seems to think the Liam is innocent but can't explain
