She can go on her own to find it, or see if she can find her husband and have the two working the same project.

If she has time before the auction time the sluagh named, she certainly tries to locate Olgar first.

SHe finds him...as much by sixth sense and knowing him as anything. While he's been out on the town a bit, local area to find any trods, in this case she finds him on the roof garden

She blinks. "Well, I suppose you were going to be taking up parkour sooner or later," she says as she approaches.

"Heh..thought I saw a..smattering of Silver"

"Really? A rath?"

"It's in the air... I'm thinking I MIGHT be able to jump to it without splatting... in my 'wilder' daysI would have given it a shot"

"I'd very much rather if you didn't, hon. Maybe some other time I'd be happy to spot you for the leap, but right now we've got another engagement."

THAT gets his attention and he hops off the ledge, fortunately not the skyward side- "What's up?"

She moves close and takes his hand. They might look like sightseers taking in the view as she murmurs to him, telling him about the encounter with the sluagh. "...so we need to find Lobby Four-and-a-Half."

"If we end up at hogwarts I won't be surprised" He mutters'

Then she blinks. "Oh! You don't think...." She nods towards where he'd been looking for the Silver.

"Could that be what you saw?"

"Have to ken to find out, but let's try inside and below. I don't think they're talking about a sky trod to be honest... but there's always a chance it's related"

She nods. "This certainly isn't where I might expect to find a lobby, anyway." They head inside.

They move in, staying alert while trying not to LOOK too alert... you know, be paranoid casually

This sometimes means sharing loving looks while actually looking past the other's shoulder.

They're pretty good at it... Olgar mutters "Footsteps , that troll who works here approaching. Probably won't appreciate us sniffing around'

"But we're guests," she insists with emphatic innocence. At the same time, she's kenning to see if she can find any glimmer of glamour. "Still, easier if he doesn't see us." She pulls him into a side corridor.

And they evade

Footsteps go by, and the two close on where the lobbies should be

Sure enough, between the two of them, they ken a spot between two regular lobbies. At that location, there is a painting..

Kerri murmurs to Olgar, "I'm just now thinking that this is, at best, a half-baked idea. Ready anyway?"

a grin at her and a whisper "If Sylvi or any other wilder asks about this later, we make it sound like we weree a lot more sensible than we were. Deal?"

"Deal." She grins back, and then reaches out to knock on the door frame in the picture, hoping that opens the way.

And it does... the painting turns into a kind of fog, one they can step through

As they pass through, she murmurs to him, "If it comes down to it, we're agents for a noble in Apples."

"I get the feeling that's closer to the truth than we wanna admit..." And they've stepped through

"Exactly."

It does look like a lobby, already set up for an action. What surprises them (perhaps) is that there is a table of small stands, not much bigger than coasters. On about half of them... are small statuettes made of perfect alabaster.

Kerri moves closer for a look at the figurines, but doesn't touch.

She now sees various sorts. There's a statuette of of a woman playing a violin. Her expression one of bliss in the music. There's another of a man in a director's chair..eyes alight with a vision of what might unfold. There's another man, old and sweet, writing happily on a type writer or lap top., and there's a woman who is pointing about with blue prints in her hand.

the old man statutette looks...familar

She frowns and kenns the statuettes a bit.

She recognizes the magic.. akin to elder form or metamorphisis... and realizes, that statuette of the writer, it's the old man she met, the ghost writer from Germany

She gasps. At first she'd assumed the statuettes were just like placeholders, things for people to bid on when they'd actually obtain the Dreamer later. But these...have they already been claimed? Is Chef Lieselle here?

No but there's a stand that is empty that when Olgar turns it over, has her name etched on the underside "Portable... will slip right past customs. Son of a bitch"

Kerri looks around...have they actually managed to get in here alone? Possibly unobserved? Is there any chance they might be able to just swipe these right now?

well, that's a matter of luck it seems... there are signs that some folks come in now and then. Could be security sweeps, or the nobles coming in... but it does seem odd that they're just out here, unattended

"It's a trap?" she whispers to him.

"I half way expect a fishheaded guy to yell it. Or more accurately, I think it maybe trapped. Some alarm if we take it and run? But we can't just let them get away with this"
