As they close on the hotel, they see something a bit like this...

Kerri looks surprised. "Well, I guess I thought it would be nice, but this is NICE nice."

"I'm not even allowed to park the donkey too close" Hero jokes

"Oh! That's a shame." She leans forward to address the donkey. "We think you're very photogenic, Dragon!"

Dragon seems to agree, at least if she's reading the body lingo right. They approach a gate...

and, perhaps to no one's surprise, they see a troll! Mortal wise a security uniform, but the armor is myrmidon like

Kerri checks to see if she can see any familiar house emblems.

She doesn't see any such thing but there are signs of changeling work... chimerical vines woven by hand into greecian designs like lyres and godly symbols of Olympus. Hand crafted wind chimes, purely chimerical, that only changelings and enchanted can hear

"Very impressive. Hero, Phaldra, thank you so much for getting us here. I hope this isn't the last we'll see of you?"

"Of course not," Phaldra says "Hiro, give them your number so they can call you"/He nods and hands it over "Anytime"

"My thanks again," Kerri says as she takes the number and climbs out of the cart.

THe troll sees them, and they get that 'kenning' look. He is surprised then gives a troll salute "Please, you are guests here?"

"The Davidsons" Olgar says nudging his wife to show the prize ticket

She rolls her eyes a little at her helpful husband, but in a good-natured way. Presenting the prize for inspection, she declares, "We are, indeed."

he looks over it "More Concordians. Please, follow me. I don't know who you're representing but you'll find your chance to bid as open as any when the day comes" He grabs their things and carries them in

"I...excuse me?" She follows, giving Olgar a confused glance.

Olgar gives a confused one back

The guard/bell boy sighs "My apologies. Of course you're not here for the auction, and you just happen to be here. I know, we all have obligations. Well, don't worry about me. I'm not a boggan. Gossip is not my forte. " And he continues talking but changes the subject "This Hotel is a cuillanary haven as well as a resort of elegance. You'll have a chance to meet Anne-Sophie Pic, Andreas Caminada, and Liselle Vergarden and perhaps even take a class or cook with one of them. "

Kerri sounds (or tries to) smooth and confident. "Yes, we must tend to our obligations," she says as one in-the-know. "AND take advantage of all the available opportunities."

"So...who else has already arrived?" she asks as if it's of no importance at all.

He nods seeming to buy it "It is good to see trolls here at least. Less chance of intrigue" then he says "Your room is near the cuillinary heart of things but fear not, it is also with a wonderful view"

As they enter into the grand hotel, it is almost as if some humans were enchanted and mused... breath taking really, works of art in the walls, and more

And they are lead to their room , THIS just a part of it

She steps inside and looks around. "What a beautiful view!" she says, but her smile is tense now. She'd love to just gush over this, but her guard is up now.

Olgar nods "Thanks. I owe you anything?" to the bellhop/guardian

"We don't do tips here, sir," the man says "if there's nothing else?"

"Oh, I didn't ask your name."

"Aeros" He says "If it please"

"Aeros," she repeats with a nod. "You can give us a schedule of when events will happen?"

"Ah yes, my apologies, there should be a writ here somewhere..." He finds it on a table "here, this has it in greater detail than I might provide, but the interneary is very open to you. Please, pick and sample what we offer at your delight. This island is a paradise, this hotel a haven of hospitality"

"It certainly looks it. Thank you again, Aeros."

"You are most welcome" He says "Please, if you need anything, dial 8 on the hotel phone. You will get a real life person. I'm told that's an amneity compared to some hotels in America" And he withdraws

the door closes, and they're alone. At least... they appear to be

Kerri smiles as Aeros departs, but as soon as the door closes, the smile fades away, and she gives Olgar a very disturbed look.

Olgar looks over at her "well, I'm this close to calling Hero and asking him if they have a spare room we could bunk at, but kind of defeats your prize"
