"Oh, that would be lovely! I'm Kerri, and this is my husband," she says, letting Olgar decide what name he wants to introduce himself by.

"Call me Ollie, due to my musical urchin like demeanor" Olgar says

Phaldra looks confused at that, she gives a cautious smile. Olgar's mark tends to be off putting

Then she says "I am Phaldra.. please. I know this island well. Where are you staying?"

Kerri tells her the name of the hotel.

"Oh!" Eyes bright "You are going to a very fancy place ... very expensive. It is not with the fire" She lowers her voice "But it has a lot of magic, a lot of us."

"Well," The kinain smiles "A lot of you"

"Oh, yes?" Kerri smiles. "That's good to know. We could never afford to go there ourselves. It's a contest prize."

'ah, " A nod "You do not seem the snobs. Come, I get you a good cab... the ones who show up here , they charge you outrageous"

Phaldra motions them to walk along from the main area of the airport, after they pick up their luggage, of course

Kerri gives Olgar a glance as they fall into step behind her. ((Married Brain: Are we being set up?))

Olgar ponders (Married Brain: Don't think so, but I don't think she's a sweet old angel either)

Kerri nods. She got that sense, too.

"Phaldra, were you born here?"

"Oh yes, I moved to America with my husband so long ago though"

"I take it he's not with you?" Ollie says

"He died , two years ago" She sighs "A good man, made it for the long haul. So many choose to leave when a woman just turns gray. Fragile, men"

Olgar grins at that

"Not this one," Kerri says of her husband. "He knows I'd beat him up. He's very much a long-haul kind of guy," she takes his arm and gives it a squeeze.

"Well, natch," Olgar smiles "look who I have to come home to" A squeeze back

Phaldra nods approvingly "Good man."

She winks at him. "A very good man," she agrees.

They make their way from the airport to an old payphone ,the sort seldom seen, and she makes a call... speaking greek
