"I watched 'em on the Olympics!" He grins and... falls on his knees. "Oof." No tears, he just steadies, and gets back up again. "I like when they spin so many times it's like a top, like you did!" He suddenly looks at her again. "Are you named after Tanya the SKATER??"

"No" She chuckles "Nor have I had anyone take a leadpipe to anyone else" Though I Have plotted their doom

"What's that? Is that like a triple axel?"

"No, and I wouldn't worry about it.. ugly bit of history" She says "Now, you got right back up... that's the attitude. Now, if you'd like.. I can teach you the basics of that spin, but don't be discouraged.. it can take years to learn. Real dedication"

She looks over at Patty/Pepe to praise "You're improving, Pepe"

"I have years! I'm only 10." He grins.

Pepa, an elder of the world at 13, rolls her eyes.

"Years you have, if you use them wisely" She nods SO somberly to him, then slips Pepe a knowing look

It is a slow gradual musing, and while Billy is the one who will pay off, Pepe gets some attention and help too. If nothing else, it's best to help mortals find wonder so Banality is held back.

By the time fingers are starting to get chilled even through gloves, Billy has managed a wobbly spin, and bubbled up a touch of glamour for Nadeen, like a refreshing sip.

"Paaaaaatty! Billy!" A lady over at the banks waves. "Time to come in!" She also waves over to Tanya, a bit of a beckoning gesture.

"Mothers are not to be defied lightly," A smile and she slides over to greet the woman

"I saw you helping Billy with his skates - thank you! I don't suppose you babysit at all?" The young mother asks, curiously.

"I'm not a baby, Mom. And it's PEPA." Mom gives the daughter a smile. "Sorry, yes senorita Madrigal."

"Oh I'm afraid not..." She says ... "I'm Tanya by the way. And no need to thank me. Pepa and Billy did you proud... stood up for me when I had a gent had a hard time taking no for an answer. I don't babysit, but now and then I come by the ice to practice. Is there are a particular time you take them? I could... well

... " SHe ponders "I am here on Thursdays about an hour while the winter lasts"

"Billy wanted to take skating classes, but they were cancelled, you know, so many things keep getting shut down. If you'd really not mind, I'd gladly pay you for an hour of lessons on Thursdays..."

"mm Billy, would you like that?" She asks him

"YEAH!" He bounces - which is okay, because his skates are already stripped off.

She looks to the woman "I mighth ave a family emergency... health related kin folk... but I think it's likely I can make it. Shall we exchange contact information?"

"Of course! And I'll be around, I run the hot chocolate stand. But sometimes it gets busy, and though Pepa can watch Billy well, I know he really wants to skate better." Exchanging details, and an offer of a fair wage in cash.

Tanya doesn't haggle, but she does get the woman's name and other information, and looks amused at something wondering if the lady will realize she's tried to hire the woman of one of the wealthiest men in the area to 'babysit' and finally just tutor

She doesn't seem to realize that, at least not by name, though she does compliment Tanya's designer winter coat!

"Thank you, I love what they do with patterns"

She shows off her own purse - at first glance it looks like a Gucci, but the G is replaced with a "P", and it has a dog design picked out in rhinestones. "I buy factory seconds, and customize them to sell on Etsy. If you ever are interested, here's my shop ID!"

Is that a glimmer of glamour here as well? It just might be!

"Oh this is really nice"

She beams. "Tell your friends, I'll give you a discount code. It's just for fun, like the cocoa, but it keeps me busy so I'm not just a 'kept housewife'."

Amused "Oh, sometimes being kept is nice. For my sake I have to practically RIP my love from his stables to get him to socialize so I guess I keep him more than he keeps me at times, but the truth is he is quite the recluse" Her eyes dance "I'll tell my friends"

"Stables? Oh how nice! I used to ride when I was younger. It's pretty common out here, after all. Well, let me get these two inside before their fingers fall off. It was so nice meeting you, Tanya."

"See you next week!" Billy waves enthusiastically!

"The same" She says, then waves to Billy "See you" gathers her things and looks at her dog "How about that, my dear? they could be quite the coup if I cultivate them right."

Pyshka's tail wags!

She strokes her dog under the chin.

A scritch "Let's go back and tell Marigold about the purse repurposer... if she can't spread the word, no one can"

And her skates off, the young woman heads back to her home.
