"Please?" Lane's eyes grow big

"Even a pooka knows it's polite to sit and shake." Connor grins.

He pokes as a lump of play-doh. "I like how it squishes."

"Oh, very well ... but soon I will avenge the night by the wild reeds" And Arem shakes her hand "When the waterr is warmer"

"SQUISHES..." Harper says "So, what bringgs you?"

"We're on a mission! A mission to listen." Nodding. "And maybe recruitment!"

"Oh we're already recruitted, " Dow informs him "kind of.. well, some of us maybe spies when we're older"

"It's the baron's business" Artem says "I must learn of others o bring.. .juuussticccce"

"Just us" Harper hisses then grins as she works wiht the play dough, shaping a man

one who has fallen down

"He's fallen down," She explains "And he better not get up" A whisper "standing up is death"

"Who fell down?"

"Exactly" She says

Artem whips his long hair about "We're not supposed to talk to outsiders about the assassin, Harper. "

Brogan says "Do you have orders to that effect?"

"KINDA" Dow says "More like we were told we should't..."

"We're not outsiders. The Shadowpaw FOILED the... the..." He hesitates. "That's a naughty word."

Looking around for a swear jar.

There is one, only has 3 nickels and a dime in it!

"Anyway, we foiled the butt-butt-er. Butter..er...er. And then my Knight WHOMPED her." Proud.

"That was you?" Dow says "WOW"

"You that was?" Harperr gasps "Wow!"

"Was that you?" Artem says "Wow."

"It was us" Lane nods "Connor lead the way. he noticeed the bad guy. err girl"

"I smelled the red dot." Nod nod.

"Bad goblin" Artem frowns "It was a Thallian. She's our baron's prisoner"

Harper makes police sounds

"Are there good goblins?" He sounds unsure. "Like, when watch watch Labyrinth, sometimes my sister sighs when the Goblin King comes out, but I'm pretty sure he's still a bad guy?"

"Well, THIS one is guilty" the rusalka insists "We rusalka are dreams of justice, and she is the opposie of Just..." he crosses his arms "She's.. UNjust"

"She's just unjust!" A nod!

"She tried to make the Mountain have an avalanche from the top of his head. That's not something NICE people do."

"Not something nice" Harper agrees

"Did she say anything about why? Maybe someone was twistin' her arm. I saw... you see, we have this peacekeeper, and he was twistin' his brothers arm, and it looked like it would hurt a LOT... except the pillar is a sloo, and he just twisted right with it, and it was like no bones at all." A bit impressed.

"Well she got interogated " Dow says "And maggiced, but she didn't know all the whos who hired specifically and such... we're not supposed to KNOW this, because we're kids but..." He pauses unsure

Connor is gently encouraging, and boy, those pooka are easy to talk to.

"The Shadowpaw is honorable and never reveal our sources." He crosses his fingers, but then crosses his heart with the crossed fingers?

"Cross my heart and hope to lie, stick a poodle in my eye."

In Baron Kelea'ns' voice, Harper pipes up "Damn the Court of Shadows, who do they have inn side?"

"Well, you obviously couldn't know. If it's all full of shadows, who would be able to see anything in there?"

"She means tthe Shadow Court" Brogan frowns "I thought it had reformed as a commor rights group?"

"Connor Rights Group? I'm all for that. Everyone needs rights. Lefts, too."

Dow scofffs "It's actually gotten worse. .. the commoner rights thing is a front. I learned that much. Lot of dark forces"

"Lots of Darth Forced" Harper agrees

"If it's a front, who's in the back?"

"THAT I don't know " Dow admits ..while they talk, folks all get play dough

Connor is making something blue and squishy

"Who, who, who. If only we had an owl. THEY would know. Otherwise, who would know?"

He gives Harper a polite bow! "Not that you're not better'n any old owl!"

Artem makes a shape of a drowning man in a tide pool with his "They have small cells.. which I thought ALL cells were small, like scieence, but the point is, she can' reaveeal much bcause she does't knnow much TO reveal. BUT she tried to leave a fake card"

"WHO me?" Harper grins
