"I like Willie, really. And Wudlig. Do you like the Baron and Baroness? Maybe it's easier to not feel so... phewww..." expressive hand gesture "when you're equally pretty."

He shrugs a bit. “They’re still… a lot, you know? Especially the Lady. She’s a bit intimidating. And the Baron, he’s quiet and I never know what he's thinking, but wonder if he's just… you know, disappointed?”

"disappointed?"

"Ya'll miss how excited they were for you? You set off fireworks. Sidhe aren't like commoners - we just recycle, you're special."

"And you have magic. And you saved the dogs on Thanksgiving."

"Not really, Gwen saved the dogs." He corrects.

"Because you gave her the vision."

"You ever try to do it on purpose?"

He shakes his head.

"Maybe you could? Like, try crystals or tarot cards or runes... or, hell, astrology? You love stars."

"Like, boom, read the stars like an old-school wizard. You ever hear of Tycho Brahe?"

"Of course! Kepler was his assistant, and he discovered new stars in what they thought were immutable constellations… I think it was Cassiopeia?"

"Supernovas!"

"AND the Tychonic system..."

"Right, but he also studied astrology - which, I mean, if you think about modern string theory, is it really too far off base to think that the stars and fate are connected?"

"I didn't know you were into astronomy... or astrology."

Her eyes sparkle. "He was also an alchemist."

He laughs! "Maybe you can built a telescope that sees not just the stars, but the visions in them..."

"Maybe! Is glass that different from clay or metal, really? Add fire, make change."

"But since you love stars most of all, seems like astrology makes more sense than, like, tea leaves."

"Tea is okay, I guess?" Clearly not excited, but interested in the idea

"I do like tarot cards for the aesthetics - some really trippy art."

"The one time you saw stuff with me, we were looking at the stars."

"Image what might happen if we could GO into Space... "

"WHEN we go." Big grin. "Counting down the days... you know, they say you get a boon when you're sained? How does two tickets to the cosmos sound?"

She flashes a grin full of sharp teeth. "Hoopy."

"Honestly, like, for humans alchemy might be hokum... but I mean, with everything that's possible for us, why couldn't science work by magical rules? Or, I guess, science do magic?"
