He reaches over and gives her hand a squeeze. "You helped him. His memories aren't always clear, or concise, but you were there, that much is plain to see."

Shrug. "Small town, yeah? And I believe he's doing okay now. Gotta, right?"

A certain nod. "The greatest of adventures. For both of us."

"I so want to see the Dreaming!"

"Most of a year to go.... then we'll be able to go questing!"

"Well, there's lots of chimera here to meet. Out in the woods, especially?"

“Mostly nevers. Don’t they have any natural predators?” Curious

"Oh, more than Nevers! There are these ones that look like deer, but not - they have branches instead of antlers. And there's the rabbits with butterfly wings. And the mushroom guys... ha, fung-guys..."

"There's the trees with faces, and the rat-pigeon gryphons - those are down in the alleys, they like trash."
