It looks like a lot of things were grabbed by the girl herself before she fled, some momentos and such... what is found is..well, unpleasantly and improperly disposed of. It would seem Gilly left her cellphone. Smart enough. She however, tried to FLUSH it. There it bobs in the toilet water, which, fortunately, is relatively clean

"Found something?" Magnus says

As he joins her, he looks down "Oh. Mmm well, you may not be titled, but you are too much a lady for that task. May I?"

"Mayhaps there are gloves?"

"Good notion" He looks under the sink and finds some "Yes, this will do" He slips one on, rolls up a sleeve, and fishes it out "THere we go, after I wash this, and my hand anyway, I'll do a backwards glance, but let's hope this is.. I'll be.. it's a top of the line phone. Water proofed"

"Phones are... difficult... to cast upon."

"We won't do the phone, just the area .. ahh.. text history..." He blinks "Zara, remember how we said we'd share information?"

"Aye?"

"How does a text to her that says TXT: They're saying you killed Jeomry. Pack your things, run. ditch your phone where they won't find it sound ?"

"Who is it from?"

"Looks like a burner cellphone, someone had her number and called from a throw away"

"Feh."

"We maybe dealing iwth a professional, except.. they gave her a warning.. no wait, they'd want her running. Duke is a Gwydion"

"And the truth would set her free... perhaps."

"Perhaps, Gwydions do pride themselves on, well, everything, but in the top three is their sense of justice"

Only a small eye-roll.

"Most of them do try to be fair, as much for their own ego as anything" He says looking over the phone, "Ick" A look at her "Readyf or me to backward glance the main room?"

Zara nods.

And he does, laying the phone in the center of a circular rug, not to read it but use it for the bunk "Calling your last few days , want to hook up?"

He looks a bit drained for a moment, he must have put a bit of glamour into it....

the magic flows about and swirls... Zara sees it too, their own arrival... then going back... the room deserted.... then Gilly, redheaded 'girl next door' type.. looks a bit like taht neighbor she had at Vassar... but not quite.

She looks at the phone... her eyes widen, she texts back furiously... then, tries to call Jeomry, forgetting to text "Come on, pick up pick up... please..." No response, and she flies into a flurry of packing... magic items and gifts galore, some she barely understands...

Zara shakes her head.

and yes, some unnessecsary, wait... is that a Lake Tahoe brochure? She's dotted something on the map of it

Zara notes this without comment or fuss.

"We believe she was here at the time of the murder, then?"

"I'm sure of it... I was looking at the clock and TV... I know when that episode was playing, and can verify it. Her taste in shows IS awful by the way"

"Did you notice anything on your glance?" he says

"She seemed truly shocked and surprised - I do not think she was involved at all. Perhaps the phone was given to her by the Namer?"

"Or she bought it with his money... yes, all signs are she's innocent. And a redcap is at least a thief. But the real for sure murderer waits. "

Zara nods. "And we are tracking red herrings."

"Very well crafted red herrings. I haven't felt so challenged in awhile. A shame it's not a game" A huff "Responsible thing to do at this point would be to present ourselves to his Grace, and report. The truth of our words should at least get him to stop the manhunt for Gilly "

"I would allow you to do this."

"Please, do not make me speak in front of a strange court."

"I don't want to steal your credit, Zara.. but , then I guess it's possible i might also get chewed out. Are you sure?"

"Magnus, I am a sluagh. And Araignee is your assistant - not Zara."

"I see...yes, I suppose I could honestly say I worked with a sluagh called Araignee" A nod "Okay. In that case, is there anything else you found or thought of that you think I didn't?"

Zara furrows her brows, thinking.

"I believe I pointed them out as I found them, nu?"

"Mmm" He looks at her "Well, i"m not a Gwydion so if you are hiding anything about this, no way for me to know. Guess I'll keep on trusting. Pleasure working with you, Araignee" he gives the sluagh gesture

"Surprisingly pleasant, Magnus."

"Though I regret we cannot give Coradel all of the answers - all we have, yet, is innocence."

"Better ten guilty go free than one innocent be punished"

"Truth in that."

"need dross for your way home?"

Zara shakes her head. Meanwhile, Quinta takes up a spot on Magnus' doublet.

"Safe travels then. I'll be back as soon as I can escapee the Duke. Please tell mother what we found"

For Zara, it's quite easy to get home , if she wishes. A call to her lover and he'll whiskk his way over, or she might prefer to simply slip onto a vehicle. She could take the trod, but without her sidekick magnus, she won't be able to rewind that wall/barrier on it
