The Thompson Household picks up "Thompsons?"

Symon is soft-spoken and polite. "May I speak with Lily, please?"

"Lily's at school at at this time. Symon?"

"Yeah, Mister T. There was a meeting, we expected her." Clearly, it being the middle of a school day doesn't seem to factor in vs. the importance of said meeting.

"Well, I'm sorry, Symon. She's still a little girl and needs an education"

"Clearly. Sorry for taking your time." His whisper is soft and bland, no particular emphasis evident.

"I'll let her know you called when you get back"

And yet, Lily has slipped school before, quite easily

"Mm." Click. Frown. Thinking - how has he contacted Lilly directly in the past? Too young for a phone of her own, perhaps...

Normally by her parents, or visiting. Lovecraftt once delievered a note, but he had to promise her a chicken

Very well. Clearly Lily's lack of presence is more important than whatever the slugs wanted to meet about, so he's going to look into that. A wisp would be helpful. He thinks ruefully, but alas, out of his wheelhouse.

Considering other options. School - she's back in Mortal School (assumed? and not at the Farm?)

Fortunately, Symon, while no Lord Hume, undersands the interwebs

and the parents make comments about...

Boarding school... yeah, he heard about that. On one hand, Boarding School can be delightfully Victorian. On the other, it could be banal, but her parents aren't THAT stupid. Firnost... ugh. Why does Dagmar have to be at ($RANDOM = fill QUERY=(basketball practice) results: 'SURE'). Never mind, he can handle that on his own.

He heads for the nearest Trod or pathway that leads to where all paths leads...
