"Heeeeeeey, Lavender! How you doing girl?" Calls over Sidney as the Dame trots past their combination Salon/Coffee shop, "Hair and There". A relaxed, cozy atmosphere to drink some coffee, eat a donut or two, and get your hair done.

The proprietor is a satyr, with hair that seems to change styles with the day. Long and wavy on Monday, short and curly Tuesday, a buzz cut on Wednesday and yet braids on Thursday! Fairly androgenous otherwise, they go by they/them pronouns, but also shrug off being called either he or she with aplomb.

Today Sidney has a short blond fauxhawk with red tips.

"You got a second?"

"Sure, Sidney, what can I do for you?" She moves to them

"Want a cuppa coffee or tea or something? It's so nice out today, no one's stopping in. No fun sitting under the dryer when it's gorgeous outside, right?" They seem to have something on their mind, other than the basic pleasantries.

"I'm good," She waves off the drink offer, "I Have to agree about the weather, sun and breeze in just the right about. So lazy day for you?"

"Mm. I wanted to ask - or rather, that is, I saw that you'd been going by Chatterbox, is that right? Adler mentioned he saw you getting takeout the other day." Boggan gossip reigns supreme.

"Well, I try to sample local biz, including food. Why do you ask?"

"We-ell. I heard about the new fledges - I mean, WOW, that was some dream dance. Who didn't feel that or hear about it the next day? But you should keep an eye on them, especially around there. The owner, that Al fellow? Not really the sort you might want influencing tender minds. And that's assuming he really DOES just want to cook - who ever heard of a redcap that feeds people instead of feeding ON people?" Concerned.

"What? Al always seemed straight. A bit growly about nobles getting bossy but.. not unreasonably so"

"That along might be a bit suspicious. Some say that his meat isn't always beef, and I don't know about that, but sometimes the diner is shut down for days with no warning, and then back open, without explanation. It's a bit shady. And that's BESIDES his clientele." They lean in a bit, "Unseelie, and some say, worse. Adler swore he saw an Ogre coming out after hours one night. And there's been other rumours besides."

"Okay, Ogre like.. unseelie troll, or Ogre like.. Thallian?" A whisper back

A slow nod. "Keep an eye on those new hatched chickies, is all, right?"

"Shit" She says "Thanks for the tip."
