" Then a look to Thistle "Thistle, I get it, this place is amazing and I know you didn't steal anything from a fellow crafter. BUT workshops tend to be a nocker's domain and only the Baron and Baroness can normally just help themselves in without approval and even they don't do that often. I know you didn't mean anything by it, and one of us should have told you the ettiquette involved. I'm sorry if we forgot to do that"

"Oh for the love of...." Willy turns on Gladiola "You let her just wander around here like that?!?!"

"At the hold, yes. She's one of us. She should have been warned about your area like she was warned about Calanthe's old room, but I failed there and I'm sorry, Willy. We also have Arthur, a new Fledge Sidhe. I'll try to inform him of the same."

"I... I didn't like this stupid shop, anyways." She kicks at the floor. "Whatever. I'm out."

Gladiola/Gwen looks at Thistle "Okay, Thistle. I'll move out with you. But, I think there's a chance Willy and you maybe talking more in the future. After all, as the sained nocker, she maybe asked to mentor"

"Hey, dumbass. Whoever's responsible for making sure you don't do dumbshit is feckin' fired." Willy growls.

"I'm sorry I went into your stupid shop."

"There, Willy, she apologized...please stop tearing into each other"

The flickering has stopped, spirals settled into a sullen grey.

"Come on, Thistle, no harm done either way and now you know..." She sees the grey and feels a bit grayer herself .

"Yeah, I know." She turns on her heel, retreating from the shop.

"Hey!!" Willy calls with a frown.

A glare from Gwen/Gladiola at Willy as Katrina goes out where it seemed Thistle had been standing , though at least she remembers herself, "Seriously, WIlly, do you make birth control jokes to rape victims for yucks while you're at it?" Wolf teeeth grind and then she stamps out after

A kick-sputter-clank of the scooter starting up.

If Gladiola can catch her, IF, Gwen calls out, "Katrina, Thistle... come on inside we'll get you some coco or something" With glamour? Maybe glamour will help

"What's wrong with her?"

Willy calls out after Gladiola, coming to the door of the shop to watch.

Gladiola is too late, as Katrina speeds home. Away from the dream-world.

"I told you, she's had an autumn person on her back for MONTHS before her dream dance. Imagine if someone told you that your hopes, yoru dreams, your visions were worth NOTHING for months? Over and over again, the crowbar of banality slamming into you and you can't even defend yourself. So she goes into see your shop, ,she shouldn't have.. but she did... I get it, Nockers gonna knock so you gave her a tongue lashing but couldn't you have, I don't know, taken PRIDE in your place- I know you have it, and bragged about it insteaad, told her how great it is to be a nocker, I'm assuming it's okay but at least showed.. ... even after I asked you to ease up, you had to keep tearing into her. Damn it Willy. I can't PROTECT her from this.. from what he's done to her!"

Gwen is sained, she has more resourcees than before, but she's clearly out of her depth at helping Katrina, and very very angry at the man she's speaking of

"I know how un-doing works! And, ya can't be undone if you ain't done! I don't know her from Eve, how'd you feel if some stranger came wandering around here an' I dunno, messed around in Marigold's kitchen or somethin'??"

"Anyway, she just gives up like that she ain't ever gonna amount to much."

"She's not a stranger, she's one of US , right of rescue mean ANYTHING to you? Look at her spirals, the gray? If some stranger walked into Marigold's kitchen, yeah I'd be on guard, but we both know Marigold would sit whoever down and feed them. And why wouldn't she give up. She now thinks she's turned into a kithfull of assholes who shit on her dreams just like Autumn Guy did. You're not that, but you sure did a good impression. Now you tell me, oh fixer, how do I FIX her???"

"Why's she GREY!?!?!" Willy sounds exaspirated.

"Because every time she loses hope, every time it seems she's believing the words of that asshole 'waste of materials' and 'this isn't art' crap that he slung at her, she gets a bit banal and goes Gray. I don't want a Dauntain, do you?"

"NO ONE wants a Dauntain, you dill pickle!"

"Great! Then reach deep in and next time I try to offer an olive branch between you two, kindly don't seize that branch and shove it up her ass. THANK you"

"I didn't shit on nothin', just wanted to know who she was and why she was in my shop, didn't say BOO about her art or anything, don't even know what she does and we were gettin' to a point of knowing somethin' 'bout each other when you stuck your nose in!!"

"You called her a thief! It's not just craft that matters, even to nockers.. " "What?, nockers are like cats?... you have to introduce them on neutral turf, let them get each other's scents, otherwise they tear into each other?"

A breath, "Willy. I'm sorry. I really DON'T know much about nockers, even after meeting a few. And even if I did, you're you. And you love this workshop, you'ree proud of it. We really did screw up by not driving home how private this is to you, that's on us, but she's a fledge. And more than that, her fae spirit has been through the equal of a cold iron blender... just... please try to understand she really is fragile.. not volitile, fragile.. she needs time and understanding to toughen up"

"Horseshit, if she's a nocker she's tough."

"Great. I'll inform the Baron you've accepted responsibility as one of her mentors. If she ends up broken or dauntiain, you get a share of that. Thanks, Willy" And off she walks to tell the Baron

Long strides, leaving the nocker there now as a mentor as well as a crafter

"WHAT!??!!"

"I'M BUSY HERE!!!!"

and gone...guess somehow the knight has grown deaf

Thankfully, there's a hammer and anvil right there; clanging sounds commence.
