Snort snort, he is reaching for those sleeves. apparently the lace is the tastiest part.

"No." Firm voice, gentle hands redirecting. Look, away from the sleeves! A sugar cube! (Did Dagmar just have sugar in her pockets the whole time?)

"See how quick he is!" Nadeen is not a horse person compared to some, but it is clear she adores joker

"Be nice." She doesn't make him wait long, but he does have to wait!

He... stomps tiny hooves! Whinnies and bucks! He is a STALLION and she will listen! Wreeee!

A deep-lunged HUFF. Dagmar is Head Mare.

"Oh give hi mthe cube... "

Another horse closer to the stable entrance gives a snort, a someone else is here snort. And then Sylvi's voice is saying, "Yes, hello, aren't you lovely," to the horse, pausing to stroke its nose if it allows.

She's wearing what she wore the day before, but freshened courtesy of Marigold. She looks a bit tired still, but not so much as when she was almost stumbling to the offered room the night before.

"Hey Sylvi!"

After greeting the horse (and letting her eyes adjust to the stable light after being outside) she waves to them and approaches. "Hey," she says with a smile. Then a deep bow to Nadeen. "Lady SilverWolf," she addresses her with a grin in her tone.

"Freeholder Sylvi, and.. potentional sorceress" A curtsey back then a hug "Oh Sylvi, your magic ... honestly each of you saved the day in your own way. Dagmar, you, Connor... I can't begin"

"He wanted to come."

She straightens and gives a baffled shake of her head. "I wish I could take the credit entirely for that, but...I don't know exactly what happened. It's like...like Da'an took the wheel and said 'Hold my beer.' " Then a grin to Dagmar. "I gotta tell you, it was a big relief to see you when you got here. And if you hadn't been dealing with Danica, I would have had to, and then Calanthe could have gotten off whatever cantrip she was working on."

"mmph, Calanthe. It's a good thing the dove were taken or i might have been tempted to hand her to Briar"

"I thought it was a permanent thing. You think she'll learn her lesson in a year?"

"Who knows, much as I like to pretend otherwise, Calanthe was not a simple villainess. She had her reasons, she had her concerns for things beyond herself, but in the end, she had to use brute magic to compell others.. oaths, then dictums. You know? I don't think she was really that GOOD at being Ailil, besides the never admiting she was wrong part. She fancies herself a scalpel, but in truth, she was more of a hatchet with delusions"

"I can't pretend I really get the whole situation, but I think I'm right when I say you're going to be a MUCH better 'lady of SilverWolf' than she ever was." A pause. "Listen, I can't stay. I need to get back to Rivervale and Goldfinch."

"Gwydion took two years. For what it's worth."

"One as a wolf, one as a deer."

"Good point," she nods to Dagmar. "So I'm betting Calanthe'll take ten, easy."

"Heh."

"At least one year as a slug."

"Should see if Connor wants to go home. I gotta drive the boke either way..."

"I'll check, but I'll be amazed if he'd let you do that without him in the sidecar."

"Listen...Baroness..." She seems a bit cautious about calling Nadeen by her name now. "The situation with Danica and Linnae? That's bad, and it's going to get worse if it's not addressed."

"I know...I..." A look at her friends "Yes, I'll be much better, low fruit, but I'll be a great leader because of what I learned among fine folks with you"

"What's your read on it?" She asks

A bit of a blush at the compliment.

She sighs. "Me, I think I don't know enough about the backstory between them, but if they were both serving the same lady, and one followed orders to do what was wrong while the other broke oath to do what was right, they're both going to be ashamed and resentful at the same time."

"They're not going to know how to talk to each other."

Dag nods at Sylvi.

"Broke an oath?" A startled look "Oh gods.. Lin!"

"Wait... shit. I didn't... I didn't even realize that the oath broke, but you're right."

"Well...yeah, right? I mean, they were sworn to her, right?"

"They sure acted like sworn thanes. I could be wrong...."

"Wasn't it more 'the lady of the hold'?"

"And if Nadeen was half Dahlia...."

"Well yes but a dictum was used and... oh I have to find Linnae"

Linnea's horse is missing from the stables, the Fresian named 'Adelie'.

"I'll pin a medal on her then I'll kick her in the ass" Cooly as she realizes Adelie is missing

Sylvi looks concerned. "You've been around trolls enough to know that, well, last night's going to leave them both with some trauma. That got ugly. Add to it that they're sisters, twins..." She shakes her head. "I'm not sure what's the right way to approach it, but ignoring it would be wrong, so don't do that."

A sigh. "Sorry, I'm not exactly clever today. Still a bit wonky. I better get going, though. I'll be back up in the area in a couple of days. The play and all, right?"

"So Gerd misses out of all the excitement to end up being transport huh?" Gerd inquires "You know, I feel a bit like Siv, only I don't fuss about it so much like not nearly dying with others was a personal affront"

She has approached "I was thinking of flicker flashing Connor home.. but then I realized he might want to bike ride"
