What is..sometime later, Earl breathes hard, Laying there, slowly able to think again, "Zara love," he says to his trueheart who, well, she's not NOT herself per see but she's... definitely intense or has been, "Did you have any adventures recently... before this? I mean, did you encounter anything...odd"

"Mmm..." She purrs, her head resting on his chest like a pillow. "I found the most delightful treasure."

"Wasn't a mirror, was it?" Despite his concern, he carresses her. He's seen her like this before, sort of, but not This much THIS. The oath bird seems fine with this, if a bit more feral in its satisfaction

"Nay. A book."

"What mirror? I do not think I know that story..."

"Ah" realization. For some it's forbidden fruit, for his lady? of course a book, "Magic mirrors that invert your court, or put in strange notions. "

"What is..what book?" he inquires

"A tale, through which if you read one way, leads the soul to Summer. And the other..."

"Leads you to Winter," Realization "oh Zara," He kisses her forehead, "Did you know this before you read it all the way through?"

"Aye. I was, of course, already Seelie." She nuzzles his neck. "Later, methinks I shall see how deep I may venture into Summer. For this... this is, I think, more pure than I have ever been in a Court. It feels... intense, aye. Free and rich and exciting."

"Of course you had to try it," not an admonishment just an understanding "You are pure to me in whatever season you dwell" He nibbles her back "But what is this of paying this Fiona lord a visit? When you already have a magic book?"

"There are but three copies of that book in the world. I have read the first - these tales of Morgan le Fay."

"I would read it. And then, find the third."

"Isn't Morgan Le Fay the villainess of the Arthurian legend?" A brow

"In some tellings."

"She was a witch, a friend of the fae, of the Old Ways - Christianity was unkind to us in those days. This was when the world Shattered, nu?"

"I see," he looks amused, "Everyone is the villain in someone else's tale I suppose, and the hero or heroine in their own. Well my love, Summer is still upon me, but I will aid you in getting a look at this book"

"Ever my Love." Fondly.

"I could not be anything else and know happiness" He confesses with unintentional poetry

"Nor I, yours. My Poet."

"Mayhaps... oh, a social visit to get to know the place? Bachdion knows him... "

"We may have to shop for new clothes" Earl admits "I seem to have left all our baggage behind. Sorry about that, I was..." A look over her , "Distracted. Delightfully so, but, distracted"

"Oh! May I dress thee? I do like it when all may see my handsome prize. And thou... mayest select private reserve for thee." Impish smile and a sparkle.

"French lingerie, after all, has a worldwide reputation. Wouldst thou have me in silk, or, lace, or leather?" She trails a fingertip along his face. Despite having just finished, it seems that the thought is not far from her mind.

"If we can find a place that sells the clothes you like on me so whatever... " but as she goes on on silk, lace, or leather, his eyes bulge a bit, "We'll discuss that. I think we need breakfast too. Juice and such"

"Aye, breakfast! Mmm, I would care for tea. How romantic, to have breakfast al fresco in Paris? This will be good, too, to practice our French."

"Your french is amazing, they'll think you're a local, I suspect, or at least Montreal"

A soft chuckle. "Quebecois."

"Oui" He smiles "And you prove my point. " He rises slowly with her, "Shall we, my lady? We must be careful. Any nobles that see us may think they have the right to make demands or at least inquire of our business. A cover story in case it is not a Gwydion?"

"We are newly-Oathed. Is this not our first trip as a couple? Where else but Paris?"

Realization, "Wait, we... oh darling, I feel like a heel. We didn't get a proper trueheart honey moon did we?" Oh sillly seelie guilt

"Well, the world was afire."

"And now?"

"I am afire, for thee - but the world has burst open like a ripe fruit. Sweet and ready to be tasted."

"Then," taking her arm and looking towards the exits of the catacombs, "Let's get you started tasting"

Zara swans along with her beau, looking every inch the queen despite the dust and her mussed hair.

The cafe they find does indeed assume they are Quebecois, two mussed Canadians aren't so rare in Paris, but they get better treatment than if they were Americans. The tea is quite nice, while Earl does indeed have his jus de orange

Zara delights in the tea, the air, the bustle of the streets she may observe whilst not attracting too much attention. Most of her croissant goes to the pigeons.

WHo gather and cluck. Earl slips away to 'toilette' but returns later, clean hands, and staler fare he snuck out "I don't want you to starve. They were about to throw out this... slilghtly rotten egg if you like?"

"Oh, my clever Hunter!" A kiss as a reward.

Mmm goes Earl. And Zara might mmm herself, as the egg tastes something like a delicacy. She wishes she knew HOW it came to be in that condition because the timing was good ...by sluagh standards. Something for the staff at Earth Runes to be put to when they get back.

She mentally tucks it away. "We could, perhaps, find a hotel to stay... I may not have my spiders, but I do, at least, have my wallet."

"Or perhaps beg haven with our Friend..."

"Perhaps I..." As he starts to voice his opinion, Zara's keen senses pick up a figure motioning to them a slaugh, he seems to be urging haste

Zara lifts her brows, then takes Earl's hand to lead him over to the sluagh.

(in french) the figure says "Nobles are on their way, kith sister. I suggest we move on. Or hide." A look at the troll with her "If possilbe"

(Fr.) "Hide? Why?"
