He doesn't really have to work at being bug-eyed at the treasure. "I had heard... of a kitten?" He flicks his tongue out.

He nods. "Casssssh is one thing. But the ressale on a trained kitten, might be more fulfilling."

He nods, and hisses, "Hope you got what you wanted." And goes to slip out to the preplanned rendevous point...

And he waits...damn it. Sluagh are supposed to be good at that, but this feels tense

He takes the time to examine the critter he has suddenly acquired. Presumably in some sort of cage...

Okay. The damnn thing is almost obnoxiously cute

He wiggles a finger at it, and then just barely jerks back before the beak closes with a snap. "Cute."

Dagmar and Gerd manifest ... "Okay, they've got to be close..."

A snake pooka stands, lounging rather nervously outside the compound, and with a rather sturdy looking metal carrier lugged with him.

Something familiar in his slumped posture!

A familiar CLANK indeed

The gryphon gnaws at the bar fiercely

Something pulled from his pocket, and the pooka rattles a handful of dice, absently.... and stops, turning at that CLANK. Tongue flicks out!

And he moves in that direction, hoping he is right.

Frank, for one, is trying to remain inconspicuous and to scope out where they landed; at issue, the fact he's some 9 feet tall.

Stealth is not their strength.

As soon as he is judged far enough away from the entry to the compound, and close to the rendevous point, he hisses, "Ssssssssymon says?"

Gerd mutters "If you wanted Stealth you got the wrong crew"

"Sy?"

He gives a thumbs up and slides over to the group. "The one and only. I don't know how to disspell this without Sssssiv's help, so you have to enjoy my pretty face for a bit." Hissing, a bit of a slur from the thin forked tongue.

"Ssssiv is in with the prissssoners." He gives them directions.

Gerd touches a wall of the place, "Shit, i's warded"

Dag peers at the cage.

"I think we were warned about wards, yeah?"

Symon remembers something, and tries... pressing on random bricks on the wall. If they used that trick once... maybe they used it a few times.

Symon/Slither looks arouynd for a place to hide! A tree, if nothing else, he can haul is ass into out of the way.

A grunt. "May Skathi freeze this rain in its tracks!" She STOMPS on the ground, sending out a cold shock - it may or may not work, but it seems worth a try!

And suddenly there's a booming voice all around, much louder than the hissing whisper before: "Strength of defenses, you must now be lowered, and let those who have might and right repair the wrongs done here!"

And suddenly the wards on the building are overwhelmed as a voice demands it, COMMANDS It! A familar one

Symon drops the cage with a rattle as he covers his ears.

Dagmar's clever move freezes a chunk of soil, causing many teeth to NOT hit dirt!

and thus not activate!

Frank drives forward through any ivory soldiers, seeking entry to the place that holds his daughter captive.

Once the ringing clears from Symon's ears... he gathers up the cage once more. ....and any teeth that rattle, ungrown, on the frozen soil.
